Visited the hotel between Jan 3rd and Jan 11th. Arrival in Tel Aviv was very early at 5.20 local time, so on the advice of a travel agency, I paid for the hotel from January 2 (i. e. a plus day). Upon arrival at the hotel, I presented at the reception a voucher from OPHIR TOURS dated December 26.2011. In response, in English (no one speaks Russian), I found out that it had not been paid and I was offered to pay the cost of the booked room. I had my son with me, tired from 12 hours of airport hopping, security checks, flying, so he paid again to get his room keys (ONLY $1440). .
After breakfast, I went back to the reception to find out what was going on, but I was advised to contact my agent.
In the afternoon I called back the numbers indicated in the voucher and they explained to me that the hotel simply took money from me just in case (what if I behave badly) and upon departure everything will be returned to me to the penny.

When leaving the hotel, I offered the hotel employee to return my deposit to me and found out that I would certainly receive it, but then in the amount of 1000 shekels per day.
Now, having returned to my homeland, I check my account, to which as much as 542 dollars returned in 5 days. I console myself with the thought that the year has only just begun. Maybe everything will be fine.
Advice to people choosing this hotel: either stand your ground and demand a check-in without additional payments (risking spending the night on the street) or prepare an amount equal to that which you paid in Russia.
And keep in mind that the breakfast buffet at this hotel is Israeli, i. e. no meat, sausages, etc.
From everything that may be of interest to a tourist in Tel Aviv, this hotel is located farthest away.
