I stayed at the Residence, which belongs to the ZIVOTEL chain, this summer. The main advantage of the hotel is its location. There is even an inscription on the roof - best location : ). Panoramic elevator - one of the main attractions of the city - is about 10 meters away. This is very convenient for tourists who find it difficult to go down to the sea themselves, and then climb back. The hotel itself is not new, but cozy.
As in all hotels in Israel, very polite and smiling people work at the reception, and you pay attention to them first of all when entering the hotel. Free wi-fi in the lobby.
The hotel has four types of rooms - standard (street view), regular (partial sea view), superior (full sea view) and VIP (like superior, but a little better). I lived in a standart room, photos are attached. But I also advise everyone to regular rooms with a sea view, it was really lacking ...It is quite comfortable, a large balcony. It costs +/- 25% more than the standard, but it will not upset the construction site across the road and the noise from the street!

All rooms have a kettle, cups, refrigerator, air conditioning, safe, telephone. The standard room has a shower, the others have a bath.
The restaurant is very spacious, 100-200 people can eat at the same time.
There is a small playground next to the Residence. Another plus is the free parking at the hotel for guests. There is no private pool, so tourists are entitled to free use of the pool, sauna and gym at the Galil Hotel, belonging to the same hotel chain.

The Residence is suitable for those who are looking for accommodation in a fairly economical hotel right on the boardwalk. The ability to choose between several types of rooms is important when traveling for several people/families with different financial capabilities (some may book the cheapest standard room, while others the VIP).
