The Margoa hotel made the most positive impression on me. It is located very conveniently - across the road from the embankment next to the elevator that takes people directly to the beach. I lived in a suite on the 6th floor. Amazing room, stylish and spacious! The bedroom has two separate beds, TV, bedside tables, a huge closet. In the living room sofa, kitchenette. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a separate shower. Therefore, two people can wash at the same time : ) Plumbing is all new, everything works properly. There is a powerful hair dryer. What struck me the most was the huge terrace with a clothes dryer, sun loungers, an umbrella and an incredible view of the sea. Huge windows and access to the terrace are in the bedroom and in the living room. The air conditioner also worked properly and when leaving it does not turn off, so you return from the beach with a cool room.

There are no problems with food at the Margoa Hotel. For breakfast, a fairly large selection of a variety of dairy products.
And the dinners are such that every evening I could hardly get out from the table - everything was so delicious! Hot soup (different every evening), cold appetizers, salads, hummus is my favorite...And then hot with a side dish. And dessert - fruit and ice cream. There is always a big bottle of water and Pepsi on the table. The waiters are all very attentive, constantly reporting what ended up on the plates.

Having lived in this hotel for only a few nights, I had the feeling that I have known all the people who work at the Margoa hotel for many years. Very homely and cozy atmosphere, a special approach to each tourist. The people at the reception are very friendly and welcoming. Always with a smile and warmth will answer any question and help solve any problem.

Hotel Margoa is worth the money 100% ! ! ! I recommend this hotel to all tourists who can afford to pay a little more for accommodation than it costs to stay in such popular 3 * hotels as Ginot Yam and Park.

You can talk a lot about the advantages and disadvantages of the hotel, but, without reference to the area, they are not understood. Israel is a rather specific country, and you need to go there with a certain attitude, or something. If you just want to relax, you should go to Turkey or Egypt. If you want impressions and local flavor, welcome. "Margoa" is a good option for a budget holiday with a bunch of pluses. I give a slightly underestimate due to the situation in which we as a family found ourselves when staying at this hotel. This day fell on a Jewish holiday (like Shavot) and the hotel was loaded with local believers. Arriving from the airport at 16-00, we, of course, wished for a speedy shower and exit to explore the local beauties. At the reception, we are told that the room is occupied, check in after 19-00. As compensation - dinner at the hotel (we only took breakfast). In principle, the option is not bad (considering the prices in local cafes). We left our suitcases, walked, came, ate. Eight hours, nine, they don't let us in. It’s not enough that they were tortured from the road, but the child also got sick of something. And the number is busy! Poor organization of work. What did they expect by settling some and accepting an application for us? Instead of 4:00 pm, they checked in at 9:30 pm. The troubles ended there, but the sediment, as they say, remained.
I would advise, in addition to the excursion, to go to Jerusalem on your own. And then a lot of interesting places are skipped, everyone is running.
In general: quite a decent hotel (by Israeli standards). Maybe we're just unlucky?

Very nice cozy hotel across the road from the promenade. The rooms are in good condition, although small, but for Israeli 3 * - just super. And if you order the so-called VIP-room, then there will be either a larger area, or with a balcony and a sea view. The food is delicious, homemade. Tea and coffee are available free of charge 24 hours a day. … More ▾ Very nice cozy hotel across the road from the promenade. The food is delicious, homemade. Tea and coffee are available free of charge 24 hours a day. The staff is very polite and attentive. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby.
To the elevator descending from the high bank to the beach - 200 meters, to the central square and Herzl street with shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. - also 200 meters, only in the other direction.
I spent 2 nights there and was satisfied with everything. That is why I put 5 points on all counts.

I spent a week in the city of Netanya, a small calm green cozy resort town, not far from Tel Aviv. Hotel "Margoa" (3 *) I remember for its pleasant recently renovated interior, homely atmosphere and smiles of the staff, delicious breakfasts (which were included in my tour), unobtrusive qualified cleaning service, which always sparkled with cleanliness on my return, as if not maids, but a magic wand with one wave regularly cleaned, changed towels and bed linen, and created a feeling of freshness despite 30 degrees. … More ▾ I spent a week in the city of Netanya, a small calm green cozy resort town, not far from Tel Aviv. There is internet access in the lobby; free tea, coffee at any time of the day. And another advantage of the hotel is that it is located next to the sea, you only have to walk a couple of minutes from the hotel door to the elevator, which will take you to a clean, well-maintained beach in a second. There are cafes, sunbeds with umbrellas, and lifeguards at your service). . . In general, this hotel is perfect for those who do not pursue pretentious luxury, but appreciate simplicity, comfort and pleasant service.

The sea is right across the road, down to the sea by elevator.

A small old hotel in a boring town, small rooms with old furniture. Meals for 3-, they don’t even have their own kitchen, they heat up semi-finished products, there are no fruits and juices at all, herring for breakfast in the morning. The only advantage is the proximity of the sea. Whoever travels to Israel for the first time - I advise you to settle in Tel Aviv, there is where to walk even in the evening, and basically all excursions to historical places and to the Dead Sea go through it. … More ▾ A small old hotel in a boring town, small rooms with old furniture. The hotel was initially chosen inexpensive and located not far from the elevator to the beach. Let me explain, In Netanya, the central beach is the coolest beach on this coast. Nearby are a lot of hotels, restaurants, shops, rent a car and everything. Accordingly, I wanted to live very close to the beach. The hotel is located on the second line.
She is rather small and modest.
Rooms: 4+ (5) rooms in it are very comfortable with fairly good (I would say new) furniture. I came to it immediately after visiting the 5-star hotel CROWN PLAZA (Dead Sea), and initially I was afraid of a sharp contrast in the star rating of hotels. But to my surprise, the level of the room in Margoa pleasantly pleased. There was almost no difference, except perhaps the size of the room. But if you plan to spend a lot of time on the beach and traveling, then the size of the room is not important. So, the rooms are clean, cleaned every day, very high quality.
Meals: 3+ meals we took only breakfast. rather modestly, in the style of Jewish traditions. a lot of dairy, well, vegetables... perhaps everything. you can also find hard-boiled eggs, and mackerel . . i. e. there is food for women, but for men - I would not call it food. You can have lunch and dinner at any nearby restaurant. there are a lot of them nearby.
Service: The staff is VERY friendly. there are Russian speakers.
In the hotel: there is internet on the ground floor, and WIfi if you have a laptop with you.
the ironing room is modest and with a "dead" iron. true on demand, immediately brought a new iron.
contingent: old people. there were almost no young people.
Of course there is no pool. . .
MINUS: no safe. and there are no safe boxes. All valuables are offered to be packed in an envelope (usual paper for letters), sealed. described and placed in a common safe in the manager's office. those. for example, passports and money can be saved in this way, but valuables like a laptop, a camera and expensive watches are unlikely.
The hotel is suitable for an inexpensive, pleasant, cozy overnight stay, but nothing more. If you plan to spend all the time, except for sleep, outside the hotel, then feel free to book MARGOA. quite economical and comfortable. Have a good choice of hotel and a great holiday.
