Hotel U-CORAL is located outside the city, next to a coral reef. It was opened relatively recently, and is the successor of the hotel of the world-famous Club Med chain. It is now managed by Fattal, Israel's largest hotel chain. Despite the change of ownership, the principle of the hotel has not changed - U-CORAL is focused on families with children, and it is the only hotel in Eilat that offers ultra all-inclusive accommodation!
Now about personal impressions of the hotel. Let's start in order:
Territory.
Quite large, well-maintained, well thought out for families with children. But the pool, unfortunately, is quite small, and always very crowded... Israelis who love this hotel very much may not go to the sea at all - the pool is enough for them. Especially for children. Therefore, there are always a lot of people there.

There is always some kind of animation - great for children, but for adults - a bit noisy. Music, screams, hubbub and laughter - you won’t especially relax. The only way out is to run to the beach.
The beach is just across the road from the hotel, but don't let that put you off. A very nice wooden bridge leads to the beach, right over the road, so you can go right from the hotel, in a swimsuit, and go there. The beach, unlike the pool, is quite large, clean, lots of sun loungers and palm umbrellas - so there is plenty of shade. You can enter the sea directly from the shore, but, in my opinion, coral slippers will not hurt, because the reef is very close, and not only fish, but also hedgehogs are in abundance in the sea.
Nutrition.
Well, this is great here. They feed a lot, tasty, in Israeli style. And most importantly - everywhere. In the hotel restaurants, in the lobby, by the pool, in a nice wooden cafe-bar on the beach. In a word - really all inclusive. There is also baby food, and even all kinds of mashed potatoes - "gerberas" - so that even the smallest ones will not remain hungry.
Entertainment.
Again, everything is well thought out. There are all sorts of water fun (snorkeling, scuba diving, bananas, etc. ). You can even take a free boat trip along the Gulf of Eilat (the boat departs daily directly from the hotel's beach). To do this, you must register in advance at the reception.
Children are especially well entertained - there is even a mini nursery for very young children, from 2 to 4 years old. They will be fed and put to bed (by the way, the bedrooms are absolutely fabulous - beauty! ), And they will draw with them, and take a walk, and play. And parents can relax at their pleasure. For older kids, there is a good playroom with a children's labyrinth and various games. They can visit it both independently and accompanied by adults.
For adults, the hotel has a spa, so in the absence of children you can find something to pamper yourself.
Number fund.

It seemed to me that the hotel rooms are without any frills. Modest, clean, functional. Not 5 *, but 4 * pulls completely. Some of the rooms have been renovated, some have been slightly updated, but in general they are in a decent condition.
Even the standard rooms have a wide double bed and a sofa bed with a good comfortable mattress - so it's not a problem to accommodate a couple with a child in one room!
So, my conclusion is that the hotel is great for families with children. There is something to do for both children and yourself. Categorically not suitable for people aged who prefer a quiet relaxed holiday.
