Our choice was the LEONARDO CLUB Eilat hotel, which we did not regret a bit.
The restaurant food was very tasty, varied, children's table. Cons: They don't know how to wash dishes. The children in the restaurant were presented with cups for diggers and plastic cutlery. Ice cream for lunch and dinner. In the morning, freshly squeezed juices from oranges (there are presses, do it yourself). A lot of fruits.
Good children's animation, but everything is in Hebrew. Various shows in the evening.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will be back.

Considering that I bought a tour the day before departure and paid quite a bit for three adults, I already approximately understood in Moscow what I would get for this money) I was in the mood to just swim in the sea and sunbathe. In principle, the holiday was a success, but still I want to help a little for those who are considering this hotel. The hotel is small, 3rd line, walk to the sea with an imposing step for 15-20 minutes, BUT, to the beach, where vacationers from this hotel are provided with free sun loungers (near the HERODS hotel), another 10 minutes, i. e. this is already the last place on the beach in the direction Jordan. And every day at the hotel you need to take a voucher to show it on the beach, otherwise they won’t give you a sun lounger or ask for 50 shekels). You won’t stay hungry at the hotel, but I won’t say that the food is varied, and besides, it’s very peppery, on every table there is a carafe of water that the locals drink straight from the tap, they say it’s clean. We also drank, remained alive)) There are a lot of flaws in the dining room, but I won’t scare you, you’ll understand everything yourself on the spot) The pool is icy, you need to forget about WI-FI, cleaning didn’t bother me, everything is as always, but there are already 2 towels changed times a day. The hotel stops a lot of locals and Turks, a few Russians. I was surprised that the staff did not understand Russian, my daughter spoke to them only in English. And, in general, as it seemed not only to me (everything was discussed with other compatriots on the beach), the attitude towards Russians is very cool, starting with the fact that upon arrival at the reception they threw us a map of the room without explaining where it was and ending with that if you stand in a bar and wait for a cup of coffee, then they will serve all the locals first, pulling them out of the queue, and then you too. You need to vacate the room at 11 am, so plan to fly out at lunchtime, and not in the evening, as we did. And I’ll separately say about the Ovda airport, (you should immediately be prepared that your suitcases will be shaken up and asked stupid questions), it takes about an hour to get to the hotel, and the airport that is located in km is internal, it divides Eilat into two parts of the north and southern. And yet I want to emphasize once again that I wrote this review more for other doubting people to help in the choice. But it was still cool for us, we had plenty of swims and tanned, now we walk beautifully around Moscow)))

The cozy and beautiful atmosphere of the hotel, even a large number of Israelis (sometimes) does not interfere with this. The food is excellent, everyone can choose something to their liking, beer will do, white wine is generally good. Of course, you need a minimum knowledge of the English language, the room was cleaned every day, as well as the towels were changed. … More ▾ The cozy and beautiful atmosphere of the hotel, even a large number of Israelis (sometimes) does not interfere with this. The kids will be crazy about the hotel.

And in Leonardo Club - the cook and the cook got into a fight, at first they threw food, fought, then, having grabbed a gun from a female guard, he shot in front of the astonished vacationers... There is a lot of food, but there is nothing to eat. And we will eat cucumbers and herring in Russia. And dumplings in sweet tomato sauce, I think, you won’t want to eat at home either. Cakes are the same. And the pigeons are adorable. Fruits are green. Nothing exotic, not even peaches, watermelons. Moroccan children - misbehave in the dining room: they throw bread and other products, no one has the right to make a remark. At the airport - chaos, the last drop and that one was poisonous. The population is Morokans, Bukhara (Uzbeks), Ethiopians. There were no Jews. In a jewelry store, prices are sky-high, for example, can you buy a narrow ring, silver with a small amethyst for $500? And for some reason, they think so. The sea is dirty, like the coast, full of garbage cans, and there are a lot of flies. Everything is expensive. And in duty free, some goods are 2 times more expensive than in city stores. Thanks to the guides and tour guides BENJAMIN (Leonardo Prestige), NIKOLAY. The best guides and tour guides!

We stayed for a week in October. I didn’t like the hotel, the feeling that the hotel is working on a social program is full of Jewish and Arab families with children, it’s full! ! I didn’t like the hotel, the feeling that the hotel is working on a social program is full of Jewish and Arab families with children, it’s full! ! Constant noise, din, screams and screams. The restaurant is a typical canteen, where children are left to their own devices, picking up food from the floor and putting it back on the dish, touching everything with their hands. They feed well only on Jewish holidays, on other days everything is scarce. Lunches - a bun with a cutlet (supposedly a hamburger) and donuts and this is every day. And for some reason they distribute them immediately after dinner. We were late for lunch by an hour - there was no food either in the pool bar or in the bar in the hall. We recommend the hotel only to families with children and then if there are no other options. Animation only for children and only in Hebrew. It takes 25-30 minutes to walk to the beach of the hotel foot by foot. Therefore, taking "all inclusive" in this hotel does not make sense. You won’t have time to come to the beach in an hour and a half to go for lunch, etc.

In the evening, all sorts of performances for children and adults. In general, once it is quite possible to relax.

We visited this institution in April 2011, lived for three weeks with me, my mother, two children, in the middle of the rest, my husband was added for a week. Rooms were chosen with a view of the pool, it was for a surcharge. After some time, a representative of Luxtrevel deigned to call to ask if we were satisfied with the accommodation. Wishes and claims were expressed. Folding of an incomprehensible sofa was organized quite quickly, a crib was brought in, the area of the room was somewhat freed up. Previous speakers have already written about the remoteness of the beaches, I won’t repeat myself, I can only say that it was not very comfortable to travel with children back and forth. In the description of the hotel, 500 meters from the sea, in reality, these meters will be more. The sightseeing tour of Eilat was postponed THREE times by Luxtrevel for incomprehensible reasons (sometimes they waited 40 minutes for the driver in the hall, but he didn’t come, then it just didn’t work out) for reasons until the arrival of my husband, and when we had already examined everything ourselves, the tour sponsored by the diamond factory was still took place, but not for everyone, due to the lack of child seats, mother and little son did not go. The rest quickly drove around the outskirts of Eilat and rushed to the factory, where we purchased a ring with a good certified diamond, not expensive by Moscow standards. A sightseeing tour, in principle, is a deuce. With regards to an excursion to JERUSALEM, I advise you to think about it in advance. Since it costs $ 150 from a hotel guide !! ! Based on reviews, we found the One Tour company from home, ordered from them for $ 85 per person (2 times cheaper than the hotel one !! )
Food and cuisine in general is good. Quite varied, not boring, tasty and high quality.
. Pools. They have already been described. I would like to emphasize once again that the water is just ice cold. Given their depth, a maximum of 1.5 meters at the deepest, you draw conclusions that they are intended for bathing children. But even an adult is not able to withstand such a temperature. The description of the hotel says that the three pools are heated, LIE, heated only in a tiny jacuzzi. Again, the children's club "Kishkushim" indicated in the description of the hotel, or babysitting services, will suit your child only if he speaks, or at least understands Hebrew.
. Now the brightest impression: ROOM CLEANING. More precisely, her complete absence, or rather our room, since my husband lived in a separate room, everything was fine with him. In our country. . . They tried not to clean at all, gloomy, unfriendly, silent, black bodies in uniform, slowly loitering along the corridors, turned out to be Somali refugees. They did not understand either English, apparently not Jewish either. The rooms were "cleaned" only in the bathroom. It all came down to replacing towels and bottles of cosmetics, and they didn’t care what to put in, they could give out a dozen air conditioners and not a single shampoo. Vacuum cleaner - through the scandal, he just drove them on wheels along the corridor. Dusting is a HOLIDAY, also through scandal. If you were caught in the room, and you told them to come back later, there is no doubt - they will not be. In general, this was the main impression of visiting the Leonardo Club. A couple more cents. Internet - NO. There is Wi-Fi somewhere in the reception area, nothing more, we bought a SIM card for gprs Internet access, there are simply no other options. In general, I liked Israel, everything is European (except for Leonardo Club, but experts say that you don’t need to go to the Fattal network, but everything is fine in Isrotel), order, cleanliness, interesting nature, history.

Was in the hotel for the 2nd time. I returned because I liked it, because I think that you can always find something to complain about. But a return visit has its advantages. And the knowledge of some words in Hebrew is especially arrogant, at first glance, the staff. The room was good. Cleaned up regularly and cleanly. The kitchen is excellent. I met all the main chefs, learned recipes, features of dishes for every day of the week. Before leaving, they even provided me with spices and hummus for the road, just for my keen interest). The animation is all in Hebrew, sometimes they sing in English. But it wasn't stressful, it was entertaining. The hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis. And this is all enough! I did not spend money on water, alcohol, or anything! You can take delicious fruits and dried fruits with you to the sea. The pool in March was warmer than in December (then it was impossible to swim in it). Why, when the sea is 22-25 degrees all year round? ! The beach, a 20-minute walk, is excellent. This time of a pleasant walk after a hearty meal is a great opportunity to keep fit. Bicycles can be borrowed from the hotel (free of charge). The public in the hotel is always different, but very interesting. As a rule, these are families with children, locals or Moroccans; Americans and Russians. I can describe endlessly. If you're interested, ask, I'll be happy to answer!
