I will say right away that I will not come to this hotel again. The fact is that on vacation I like everything to please the eye. In this hotel, in general, everything is not bad, but my eye was not happy. The hotel looks already quite old. There where the pool and sun loungers are long overdue for reconstruction, the tiles around the pool are in a deplorable state, and the umbrellas also did not please my eyes.

There where the pool and sun loungers are long overdue for reconstruction, the tiles around the pool are in a deplorable state, and the umbrellas also did not please my eyes. The dining room is a flock of fast-running locals who came to rest in Eilat and rare tourists from other countries. and the dinners are quite decent. The room after the exchange (room 300) suited me, it didn’t triple only that it was adjacent to the entertainment area and overlooking the pool, very noisy music and animation in the evening. Eilat itself is a rather dirty city

Good family hotel in its category. Almost all rooms in the hotel are 2 or 3 room suites. There are a few standard double rooms, but they are very small and can't fit more than two people. Most of the guests are families with children. On the weekends, Israeli youths come and hang around the pool all day to the music.

We got a 2-room suite on the first floor with access to the pool. The room is clean, tidy, furniture and plumbing in good condition. The living room has a kitchenette: kettle, microwave, refrigerator, sink and small stove (the latter is purely for beauty), as well as a dining table and a large sofa bed. Each room has a large plasma TV on the wall, and the bathroom has a full bath, not a shower. Each room has its own air conditioner, but it did not work in the bedroom, so we turned on the air conditioner in the living room, opened the door and everything was fine.
Of course, you could ask to be fixed, but we decided not to bother. The room has a safe, but we did not find a hair dryer. Two adults and two (or maybe three) children in this room will accommodate without problems.
The hotel itself was renovated in winter - the lobby and the external facade were repaired. The hotel stands on the shore of the lagoon, on this occasion there is a pier with kayaks and catamarans, which you can take for free and ride on this lagoon. Walk 7-10 minutes to the beach. In this part of the tourist zone there are beaches of 5 * hotels Royal Beach, Dan and Herods, so swimming there is very pleasant. The beaches are clean and spacious. Sun loungers are paid - usually 20 shekels (about $ 5) per sunbed, or you can spread a towel under an umbrella and lie for free (all beaches in Eilat are municipal and you can sunbathe wherever you want). The food at the hotel is very tasty and varied (we had breakfasts and dinners), I would even say that they are fed like in real 4 *. There is free WiFi in the lobby.
I can recommend this hotel to travelers with children who need a large 2-3 room apartment for relatively little money.

rested on the New Year holidays with the weather, we were lucky to swim, sunbathe, have a good rest. The hotel is very average, everything is simple, to a minimum. I had to run for towels, the hotel area is not large, the service is not intrusive, the food is so-so. I can’t say that it’s bad, but the choice is not large, the hall is small, the people are noisy, local children fiddle with their dishes in dishes, the staff does not react to this, apparently they are used to it.

Breakfast - eggs, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, pastries, vegetables are not fresh. For dinner, meat, fish, chicken and vegetables, but fresher. There is no tea for dinner! That was news for us. Just a carafe with plain water and that's it. On half board, none of us gained extra pounds. Food in the city at every turn. Everything is quite expensive. We bought their vaunted shawarma and spit. It’s much tastier in our usual stall in the city. 4 shawarmas and 4 teas cost us 1500 in terms of rubles. And emigrants work there too - Sudanese, and their hands are also not washed, in general everything is like ours, only in 3 times more expensive. The hotel is absolute 3 *, you have to be realistic, there is no beach of your own, a deck chair per day costs 20 shekels, which is about 200 rubles per person. Taxi drivers are on every corner, you sit down, and there are already 9.5 shekels on the counter, i. e. 100 rubles.
The city is small and cozy. The location of the hotel is good, 10 minutes to the beach. Max. In the evening there is where to go, the promenade with shops. There are a lot of Dead Sea cosmetics, watch the prices, they sell for big money. You can buy the same products in different stores 2 times cheaper. Tours are also very expensive. Trip to Jerusalem $150 per person, from 5 am to 10 pm. Buses are boring.
Etc. everyone speaks Russian, and in the hotel, and on the beach, and in shops. In general, the impression of Eilat is positive. If you choose this hotel, ask for a room overlooking the courtyard, it will be quieter and more peaceful, there is an airport and planes fly all the time. A hotel for a relaxing holiday with children or retirees. The pool on the territory is small, not impressive, in the karaoke hall - that's basically all of the entertainment. Rest in Eilat will cost, according to the most conservative estimates, 50 - 60 thousand rubles, this is without excursions.
The sea is warm and very clean, there are no sharks. Worth a trip to the coral beach, look at the corals and fish. It’s very beautiful, they rent a mask and snorkel there, as well as a sun lounger and the entrance to the beach for a fee.
SUCCESSFUL REST!

We rested in Eilat from 12/26/09 to 01/08/10. The Marina Club Hotel was chosen on the recommendation of a tour operator from Israel. The flight was operated by El Al. I liked it. Check-in at the hotel began with a clarification of the relationship with the manager from the reception. He wanted to put us in a room that overlooked a dusty parking lot, and even almost opposite the entrance to the hotel.

After half an hour of explanations in English and threats to give anti-advertising, we got another room - better, but still close to the reception, since the hotel is made in the form of P.
We only had breakfast, which was rather monotonous. Baking was often yesterday. The attitude of the staff towards the Russians is very average and cool. Cleaning more or less. Towels were changed every day.
We were lucky with the weather, we swam in the sea. In Eilat, all the beaches are state-owned and, accordingly, you need to pay about $ 7 for a sunbed. The cleanliness of the beaches is relative.
Excursions are also very expensive, although interesting. In any travel agency in the city you can buy any excursion.
Food in cafes and restaurants is tolerable, although also expensive. It probably makes sense to take half board at the hotel, and not rush around the city in search of a suitable institution. Local spirits leave much to be desired, vegetables and fruits are delicious.
The local population has a very average attitude towards Russians. There are a lot of emigrants, mainly from Ukraine and Belarus and Kazakhstan.
I advise you to buy Dead Sea cosmetics - excellent.
In general, rest for 4, although in a cold winter it is much better than sitting in snowy Moscow.
To get the best, you have to run into the staff, well, almost like we do in Russia!
