I went to Bali hoping to see heaven on Earth, so I was somewhat disappointed. And it's not the hotel. Yes, everything is very green, lush vegetation in bloom (allergic nightmare! ), national flavor, seafood, goodwill and friendliness of local residents, whether it be hotel staff or a fisherman in the village - EVERYONE smiles and greets 100 times a day, and absolutely regardless of which country you come from! BUT ...everything is somehow alien, unnatural ...and either they chose the wrong season (there were rains), or they got it wrong, but the ocean seemed muddy and gray ...I was not impressed! Plus the smells of their offerings, which are soaked in everything...I didn't like it! In a hot closeness, it is especially unpleasant. Yes, and the people there live very poorly ...There is dirt on the streets ...

The hotel was chosen for a long time and carefully for reasons of "price-quality", so that low tides were felt to a minimum. The choice was not wrong! I liked KERATON JIMBARAN RESORT 4 * in general.

The territory is small, but we, in principle, did not need anything. The pool is deep, a lot of greenery, a pond with lilies and fish, massage on the beach and something else from the SPA by the pool.
Big room, big bed. On TV there is either a Russian or a Ukrainian channel. In the bathroom - daily 2 bottles of water to brush your teeth, bath accessories. Shower is standard. Next time we go, we will immediately order a room with a bathroom!
Removed normally. Every evening they came to straighten the bed and turn on the fumigator. In general, the staff is very friendly!
They fed well: usually for breakfast they took vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, paprika + sauces), fruits (watermelons, melons, pineapples, mangoes, papaya, grapes), bacon, pastries (croissants, muffins), scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs with all sorts of fillers with us fried. There was rice, fried noodles, always a couple of soups, sausages, potatoes, breakfast cereals, yogurts ...A lot of things, but we didn’t take them. Yes, cheeses and sausages are not tasty!
There is more than enough food, they constantly put it in, no queues, no hustle. We had lunch and dinner in restaurants on the beach: fish and seafood - everything is very tasty and inexpensive. The main course is served with rice, potatoes, salad, seaweed, soup, bread, sauces, fruits, nuts...That is, they ordered only fish or shrimp and drinks! The rest is load. For a change, they took chicken saute, steaks, pasta in the same restaurants. Everything is very tasty! And a stunning view of the sunset on the sea ...We didn’t go to the hotel’s restaurant on the beach: they say it’s very expensive there for miniature portions! It was possible to dine in the main restaurant (special evenings were arranged), but we did not want to.
The beach is good, there are plenty of sunbeds! The ocean is restless, the waves are constantly disturbing the sandy bottom, so the water is cloudy ...and always warm, not even refreshing! Sunbathing by the pool.

We went to Kuta by taxi - 30.000 rupees (either take a taxi by the meter - Blue Bird, or immediately bargain about the price). Souvenirs at Discovery and MataHari.

There are also Japanese and Chinese restaurants in Kuta.
LOVED the WaterBom water park, especially the Boomerang slide! Take towels from the hotel - save 10.000 rupees.
They rented a car with a driver for the whole day - $ 50. The driver speaks Russian quite legibly, he improves the language himself. We went to the Batur volcano. On the way, we stopped at Orchid Park - 50.000 rupees each (there is nothing to do there! ), Bird and Reptile Park - 13.75 bucks each (it was interesting to see! ), a local temple. Everything would be fine, but it was annoying that he constantly tried to lead us to shops where he had, it seems, an agreement on a commission ...Plus, I was very sick!
They also took rafting on the Ayung River from our guide - $ 39 per person. Passes through picturesque places! In the end, we got a decent meal, we were satisfied.
Capital Tour took me on a free tour, but apart from shops (jewelry, wood, silver, batik) and an extremely meager lunch, we did not see!
Yes, for calls to Russia it is better to buy a local SIM card there: a minute of conversation cost about 4.5 rubles! They took it in a photo salon, the seller immediately registered it on himself there, 10.000 rupees for a SIM card immediately went to the account, then they bought additional express payment cards and registered them themselves.
Fruit was brought home from there (in the Trolley supermarket in Jimbaran or in the market they are ridiculously cheap! ). Drinks, by the way, juices and beer were taken just in the supermarket.

The general impression is favorable. But there is definitely a slight disappointment. Alas, this is not paradise, even if Bali was a dream! Let's keep looking for heaven.. .
