I chose this hotel because of the photo, description and rating on booking. com.
Upon check-in, I was given a room that in no way matched the description and photos that were shown to me during the reservation.
Even the door of the room shows how bad everything is: it has a crack around the lock. An empty room with two single beds. The room does not have a sofa, which is mentioned in the description. There are empty kitchen furniture, an electric stove (instead of the declared microwave oven) without dishes, an electric kettle, a refrigerator, 2 cups and 2 glasses. At the same time, the rules prohibit bringing food into the room.
There are no ironing facilities in the room, which are mentioned in the description. There is no carpet in the room from the photo.
In the rusty shower cabin, the previous guests lost the lid from the cosmetics, which the workers of the "hotel" never removed before giving us the room. The once white towels are so old that they have turned gray.
Terrible soundproofing: everything can be heard from the corridors and neighboring rooms. The refrigerator makes sounds similar to drilling the wall of the room with a perforator (loud and disturbs sleep).
The beds are so uncomfortable that, not being able to sleep on them, we woke up at 5 in the morning because our backs started to hurt from the uneven and hard mattresses.
Housing is more like a hostel than a hotel (there are hostels better than this "hotel").
The staff is formally friendly, but they don't solve problems (they just say "must work" and go back to their business).
Breakfast was normal (nothing special, but not bad either). The only thing I liked there was the sweet pastries from the breakfast.
DO NOT RECOMMEND.

First time in Budapest. On the tour, another hotel was offered, but there were no places in it, they offered this hotel, assuring that it was the same no worse. The hotel is located in a poor area, an old building, there may be rubbish on the road, things of local residents, these residents look like homeless people, but the truth is that no one touched us, did not pester us.

The positive thing was that we were met at the airport, the Russian-speaking driver was very polite (he informed and loaded our things into the car), told us all the way to the hotel what to see in Budapest, showed us where the bus stops near the hotel, gave a map of Budapest on which he wrote the number phone manager and drew how we get to the travel agency. When checking in, he helped to communicate with the employee at the "reception". Triple room is large, at least 30 sq. m. The room has a folding sofa-baby and two beds, a bedside table between the beds and under the TV, a table, two chairs, a small refrigerator, three glasses. On the wall is air conditioning and TV. There was a remote control from the TV, but the TV did not turn on, there was no remote control from the air conditioner (it was cool and we didn’t need air conditioning). You need to ask for a hair dryer (10 Euro deposit, they give in exchange for a hair dryer). They asked for an iron, they gave us, then they took it themselves, a day later a lot of people drove in and the iron had to wait until it was free. Towels and bedding for 4 nights have never been changed, although it is written that due to water savings, towels will be changed every two days. There is parking, we didn’t need it, I don’t know the terms of use. Although the maid came into the room every day, made the beds in her own way, threw out the trash. This is what is noticeable. There is soap near the washbasin, but it was not in the shower, maybe they would have added it on request. The flow of water in the shower is slow and the water is warm and not very hot. The hotel provides breakfast from 7-00 to 10-00. Tables indoors and outdoors (patio). Great selection, I love it. Every day, butter, three types of cheese, three types of sausage, sausages, 3-5 types of fresh vegetables, three types of non-sweet buns and two types of bread, scrambled eggs, two types of toast, boiled eggs, three types of sweet buns, you can make oatmeal, muesli, there is milk, cream, three types of jam, fruits with cream, assorted defrosted fruits, a coffee machine, three types of tea, sugar and spices.....In the evening there is a bar, the cheapest drink is tea 1.5 Euro. The hotel has poor or non-existent soundproofing. We were informed that we had to vacate the room 30 minutes in advance. We called the manager and asked for a transfer to the airport earlier than the appointed time, the driver arrived as soon as he was free, an hour earlier and we did not have to sit in a small hotel lobby with things. The staff speaks English, and for those who studied English at school it is quite understandable. To get into civilization you need to walk for 20 minutes, even to the left, even to the right, there are several small shops nearby, a cafe, a vegetable store, a 10-minute walk there is an indoor market, a metro station. There is a bus stop in 5 minutes, but with this it is more difficult which route, where you will be brought, you need to know. Most of the population, as in Ukraine, speaks their native language, that is, Hungarian, it is impossible to understand something.

The hotel is located in an unfavorable area, so it’s better not to walk or take a taxi in the evening. Rooms for 2 are large, even with a kitchen, but there are many minuses: only 2 bath towels were provided (and this is for 4 * !? ), an antenna on the TVwas broken, the sockets were loose, the cobwebs hung in the corners, there was such an accumulation of dead insects in the lamp on the ceiling that they covered the entire ceiling and did not let in enough light, there were no napkins at breakfast, and when asked convincingly, the worker ran to buy themto the store, mattresses on the bed with "stiffening" ribs.

In general, I can not advise this hotel as 4 *, it only pulls on average 2 *.
