We rested as a family of 2 people and a child, the hotel was offered in a package tour as a solid three on booking. com reviews on it were not bad. Realities, the hotel is located on the Buddhist side, far from some kind of civilization, around the private sector. Opposite the hotel there is a cemetery, so it is very clearly visible from the window, there are tram tracks nearby, although passing trams are not audible. Of the shops - a small grocery somewhere 1 km (seen when passing nearby), and 300 m 2 a shop selling wreaths. . . Regarding public transport from this hotel, it is quite problematic to figure it out, we went by taxi to the commercial part of pest - 2000 forints, it is quite problematic to catch a car to get back. Advice to those who are looking at this hotel to look for another one near the metro, so that they don’t suffer later on how to get there (you can’t walk to civilization on foot !!! ). That is, you can stay in it if you are only by car and it is not expensive (foreigners who lived there were all in cars) Hotel 3 floors with a small elevator and narrow stairs. The rooms are small (not at all like those shown in the photographs of him) they have cracked single beds right next to each other (in a triple bed there are 3 beds right next to each other with a narrow passage in front of them), the rest of the furniture is the same killed. . . In the bathroom there is a shower and a toilet more or less. At first, we were put in a room for 2 people + a bed, they "liked" their logic, since the 3rd child is 4.5 years old, then you can put a small playpen (in which the child did not fit and therefore slept with us) 1 night. On the very first day, we resisted the operator’s disassembly (because it was their choice on the body with assurances everything is exactly what we lived there ourselves in the pictures... ), we were told to move to the Mercury Corona hotel (quite not a bad hotel) butin one day. . . because there were no options, I had to stay. The next morning, we were relocated (because we had to spend 1 more day in this hotel, although we didn’t ask about relocation), such as a larger 3-bed room (I wrote about it above). At the same time, they made a surprised face that we do not like their comfortable rooms. . . By the way, you go into the rooms and you get the feeling that there are probably bedbugs here. . . Thank God that there was no "living creatures". . . The bed linen in the hotel is dead (worn out can be seen in the photographs). . . One advantage, not quite bad food in the restaurant. The hotel is mainly inhabited by retired tourists who came to see Budapest by car. As a result, good advice is to find yourself a normal hotel closer to the metro and not with such conditions. By the way, the hotel where we were moved by Mercury Corona is not bad enough for settling and exploring Budapest (although the cuisine in the restaurant is not very good).
