The hotel is excellent for its 3 stars. The rooms are relatively clean with everything you need (towels, hair dryer). The breakfast is good, you won't leave hungry (buffet). There were interruptions with Wi-Fi, but this is not critical.

But the most important thing is bedbugs, all hands, back and legs are bitten. Terrible hotel!!!! I do not advise anyone.

I recently came from a tour of Eastern Europe and the last country on this tour was Hungary. So everything is in order. We were driving at a time when borders were canceled in Europe and everyone was happy (local) - not a single border guard was visible (Czech Republic, Slovakia). So everything is in order. We were driving at a time when borders were canceled in Europe and everyone was happy (local) - not a single border guard was visible (Czech Republic, Slovakia). But when we arrived at the Hungarian border, we not only saw a border guard, but even he did not let us into Hungary - we did not have any kind of card for traveling through the Schengen country. Hungary is not in the Schengen yet, but it requires cards. Paradox.

We turned around and drove to the next border crossing and presented there no map was required. Paradox? Paradox. Budapest is a beautiful city especially at night. The Danube, the illumination of buildings, bridges are all very beautiful. Just a fairy tale. I advise you to take a boat ride on the evening Danube - an unforgettable sight.

Now about the hotel. We settled in the hotel Eben3*. It is located on the outskirts of the city.
The hotel is so-so - the rooms are small, there is a refrigerator with water (for a fee), an old TV, a non-working air conditioner, a hairdryer, a shower, in a word, everything is like in any 3 * hotel.

But what struck us was just the boorish behavior of the service staff. We arrived late and wanted to eat and asked to order a pizza. At the reception, a pot-bellied and bearded Hungarian refused and said that you can’t order pizza, but you can go to a restaurant. When he found out that the restaurant was closed, he ordered pizza for us. That is, when the restaurant is open - there is no pizza, and when it is closed - there is pizza.

And another pizza cost 13 euros and at the reception they told us that 20.
Cleaned irregularly and reluctantly. By the way, no one threw away the pizza box before our departure. Breakfasts are the same as everywhere else - nothing is missing, nothing is reported. Juice is just yellow water. Coffee is normal because from the machine. In a word, if you can choose, take something better.
The metro near the hotel is simply teeming with gypsies, homeless people and drug addicts. It feels like everyone who goes down there is pricked. The metro is dirty and no comparison with Prague. The tram is no better.

I stayed there a year ago in early April. I must say, the most suitable time of the year in terms of price-quality ratio, i. е. at a "winter" price, the average temperature was 18-20 degrees. Accommodation - not in the city center, but that's a plus - cheaper and not so noisy. 150 m metro station ("Ors Weser Ter"). … More ▾ I stayed there a year ago in early April. Accommodation - not in the city center, but that's a plus - cheaper and not so noisy. 150 m metro station ("Ors Weser Ter"). I advise you to buy tickets in advance and in bulk, for example, for a week - save a lot + you can also use them for the HEV high-speed train if you are going to the Buda Caves.
Near the hotel there is a large shopping center + supermarket, so you won’t leave hungry, although you can have a decent lunch in the restaurant on the 1st floor of the hotel for 3500 forints (about 350 rubles) for two, including beer.
A big discovery for me was the variety of food at breakfast (!!! ) For a 3 * it’s even very chic - a large selection of cereals, hot (!!! ) with meat (!!! ), eggs of different types, dairy products, drinks for any taste. I advise you to try "Budapest" tea, if you are not in the hotel, then it is sold in the shopping center nearby - I regretted that I bought only 200 grams!
The rooms are clean, cleaned every day, the staff is very friendly, attentive and at the same time not intrusive. I never saw a cleaning lady, but the room was always clean! (I deliberately left candy wrappers - either under the bed, or under the sink : ) - they cleaned it every time !!! )
So I advise you to visit! I liked it very much!
