We had to stay at the Arena Hotel early. And this time they were very pleased that the tour operator provided a two-day stop in Budapest at the Arena Hotel. The hotel has a pretty good location. In the immediate vicinity of the metro station "Stadionok" (M 2 red line), the final stop of the trolleybus in the direction of the "Square of Heroes", and on foot from the square you can walk in 30 minutes if you are on a spree and the metro is already closed. The national sports arena is next to the hotel. A 20-minute walk is a huge shopping center "Arena plaza" (which also has a supermarket "Tesco"), the railway station "Keleti".
Double room, quite large. The room has all the necessary furniture, a large safe (a video camera and a camera fit freely, not to mention other valuables), air conditioning. But the condition of the room is terrible (this was not the case two years ago, it is not clear what happened) - the carpet flooring is very dirty, everything is in multi-colored stains of dirt; bedspreads, as well as a thick curtain on the window, are very dirty and dusty; the sheets on the beds are frankly dirty, with holes; under the sheet there is a dense bedding, very unpleasant to the touch, crispy, like Soviet oilcloth in a hospital for patients with enuresis. Too bad there is no refrigerator.
In the shower room, all RMN (soap and soap accessories), there is a hairdryer. The disadvantages include the lack of ventilation (the mirrors immediately fog up, which, of course, is inconvenient) and the very unpleasant appearance and vile state of the bath curtain.

Breakfast is a buffet, very generous, for all tastes: cheeses, sausages, brisket, side dishes, vegetables, fruits, juices, drinks, sweets - you can’t remember and try everything.
