And then, with the slogan "if only Turkey and Egypt" moved to Croatia. the first feeling after landing, damn it, it seems that they brought me to the Crimea, but the first impression, thank God, turned out to be deceptive. The beauty is extraordinary: the blue-blue Adriatic, a huge number of islands along the coast, olives, grapes, peaches. . . Paradise. in a word. But something I digress. the hotel is beautiful, the territory is green, many flowers. 5 buildings: 1 main and 4 for guests. If you want luxury apartments, feel free to choose another hotel. The rooms in Funtana (well, personally ours) corresponded to what was stated in the catalog - hair dryer, safe. TV, air conditioning, everything was in its place. From the balcony there was a side view of the sea and the roof of the neighboring building, which was inhabited by about fifty fat, well-fed gulls. The bath is, of course, a special topic: I was personally embarrassed by the low trays in the shower room and the brush that did not want to stay in one position, but they seemed to cope with this. With towels there, too, not everything goes smoothly: in the brochures left on the hair dryer, it is written on the great and mighty that they say that we care about the environment, and therefore if you consider your towel dirty, LEAVE it in the bathroom ON THE FLOOR, otherwise they will not change it . Well. . okay with him. Speaking about the service, I would like to warn you right away: in Croatia (as in the whole old Europe) you will not be "courted and licked", spread roses from towels, cakes and champagne in the rooms. Well, at least 3. If you want top class service, pay for 4 or even all 5 stars. If someone was frightened by the previous sentence, do not worry: the rooms were cleaned regularly, the hotel territory was licked to a shine, the stone slabs of the beach were washed every morning from what the sea brought at night, There were no problems at all with sports equipment. Speaking of sports, 10 points!!! ! Fans of outdoor activities will certainly appreciate the tennis courts (2 pcs), kayaks, catamarans, volleyball, billiards, bicycles, 4 table tennis tables, about 10 minigolf grounds. In general, you will not be bored. The hotel has 2 swimming pools - 1 large, 1 with a water slide - small, for children. I don’t know about the water park, but they said that there is also somewhere nearby. In the evenings every day live music, Thursday and Sunday animation (for my taste, not very). The beach is pebbly, or rather, even stone. But in the sea the approaches are not bad, like stairs in the pool, there is a paddling pool for children. From the beach of the hotel you will see 5 islands, quite close, you can swim on catamarans, kayaks or boats. Nutrition - OH MY GOD. I was afraid that I would not pass through the metal detector in Domodedovo))) The only thing is that the breakfast is monotonous, but lunch and dinner are admirable. I recommend seafood risotto, turkey, lamb (well, this is not for everyone), pork, boiled corn for garnish, tomato soup, bagels for breakfast, nutella (chocolate paste), local melon (melts in your mouth), watermelons, somehow not very, ours are better. Not a fan of fish, but the local (like a sardine) is very personal. with sweet they certainly let us down. but ice cream in the bar will please everyone. For lovers of strong drinks I will say. that the wine in the badyaga restaurant is rare, apparently the wine is unripe, young, and ethyl alcohol is probably added there, so to speak, "for taste", but local drinks in the bar. . . I will highlight the liquor with the number 18 on the bottle (it looks like a Riga balsam) and my absolute favorite is the Yulechka pear liqueur with ice. You can try the local moonshine there (although it is called whiskey, brandy, the word "moonshine" expresses the taste more accurately). But the beer is also nothing, the Germans having a rest lined up in a queue. By the way, about foreigners: we did not meet many of our compatriots, mainly the contingent of vacationers - Germans, Italians (who directly rushed there after August 5, they all have holidays at that time), Czechs, Austrians and other representatives of Central Europe. Respectively. at the reception they will understand you if you sprehat, parley and slur (Croatian is similar to Ukrainian). And of course, without English anywhere. but trying to explain something to the Slav brothers in Russian, in my opinion, is useless: of course, they will understand you if you speak slowly and with good diction, but if there are any problems, they won’t understand and that’s it. Learn languages, in a word. If you need a nudist beach, where where, but in Croatia this goodness is enough. Casanova, by the way, was the first nudist and rested just in these places. Of the excursions, it is worth going to the Istra-tour, unforgettable impressions. Zagreb is the best private tour. A boat trip to Rovinj is beautiful, but I won’t go for the 2nd time. do not take dollars with you. they are harder to change. But the euro is just right. They can even pay somewhere. I do not recommend changing at the airport. there the rate is unfavorable, it is better at the post office or at the travel agency in Funtana. By the way, not far from Poreč , a beautiful city, 10 minutes by bus, take a trip, you will not regret it. On foot you can walk to Vrsar - the views from the church are breathtaking. what should be brought from Istria? I don’t know what to bring, here your imagination will be where to roam. I took out a bottle of olive oil with white truffles (very tasty), acacia honey with apricots (sorry, I bought only one jar), a carnival mask by a Zagreb artist, coffee (German is better), chocolate, a bunch of photos. Local cheese is an amateur, prosciutto is delicious, but I expected more, local wine, uh, if you like young wines, then yes. For shopping lovers, I can advise a shopping center opposite the main Orthodox Church of Zagreb (city center), shops in Pula and Poreč . Well, that's all, have a great holiday!
