The main advantage of the hotel is all-inclusive and the hotel has a place on the municipal beach for hotel guests, where they do not charge for sunbeds (15 kunas = a little more than $ 3).

Everything in the room is no frills. Clean and tidy. It’s amazing that everyone drinks water from the tap there, and I also drank it there and even took it in a bottle with me when I went on excursions. And the air is very clean. So clean that I, who paid little attention to smokers in Rostov, suddenly began to sharply not tolerate the smell of tobacco. This smell irritated me so much that I was very surprised. Well, on the beach, she even changed her location. The first seven nights I slept perfectly without dreams. And on the eighth night I had nightmares. In the morning I went to the toilet and felt the pungent smell of a smoky room. The neighbors have changed. Our fellow citizens, Russians, have moved in, for whom the laws are not written, and they smoke everywhere. She asked the maid about her guess, who shrugged her shoulders in embarrassment. In Croatia, people make their living from tourism. And to make a remark for them is tantamount to refusing to work. The country has 25% of the unemployed. And summer is the season of earnings.

For the first trip abroad, I decided to choose Croatia and did not regret it. Croatia is a very beautiful country. Only the end of the season is not the best time to relax, but I had no other choice... The hotel is designed more for families, everything is very calm and measured. There were many Italians, Germans and French.

There were many Italians, Germans and French. There are many pine trees with nimble squirrels on the territory, and the combination of sea air with the smell of pine needles was simply incomparable. The sea is very clean, the first three days it was quite possible to swim, the temperature allowed it.
The hotel service is good, the staff is attentive, the room was clean.
Minuses:
1. Sometimes very slow staff who served exactly in the hall where the buffet was located;
2. Three days later, sun loungers were removed from the beach (exit from the platform), leaving only those that stood by the pool on the territory. At the reception they answered that there would no longer be sunbeds by the sea, since the season was over. Moreover, sunbeds were cleaned not only in this hotel and in this city.
3. The most unpleasant thing was that one day in the evening and the next day in the morning there was no hot water... It was barely warm. In conditions of very cool weather, the lack of hot water was very unpleasant. It looks like something is broken there.
Animation... In the evenings there was live music, they sang very well and sincerely in different languages, then somehow out of curiosity I went to the performance of the Cabaret "Classico" in English. In principle, not bad, but I would not go to Umag again. We need something more fun.
Excursions in Croatia are cool... The country is really worth seeing.

The prices are still divine, the water is warm, but in the evenings it is cool outside, like at home. Then it will be hotter and much more expensive. We entered a room overlooking the park, it's good that it's not on the sea - there is a screeching until late in the evening, first by the pool, then from the animators' platform. However, who does not annoy - please. You can swim not only from the stove. 300 meters to the right along the shore is a pine park - there is a descent from the stones. And even further along the coast - a nudist beach, on a peninsula jutting out into the sea, among some ancient ruins. It's very cool there, I advise you to go at least once. Entrance for 3 euros per person, a policeman patrols until 7 pm. You will not regret. It is clean and it is the only place on the coast where it is interesting to snorkel (no net).
There is a minimum of entertainment on the shore, until 10:30 the animators entertain, by the way they are very good, but everything is in English. After they finish, the hotel dies out - everyone is asleep. There is no need for illusions that it is more fun in Umag. They fall asleep even earlier. We were lucky that there was a casino next to the hotel, which is filled on weekends with crazy Italians. He has an open-air bar with him, where we had a good time all evenings in a row. Very cool cocktails again for 3 euros apiece and a good DJ. In my opinion, this is the only place within a radius of 5 km on the coast where music played at night.
You can safely go to this hotel, as well as to the neighboring Sol Koralj. Less than four stars, especially in old hotels, you should not go. We went on an excursion to the red island. There is a hotel there, so I don’t envy its guests. Communication with the shore is only by means of a boat, which stops running at 11 pm. There is nowhere to go on the island itself, except for the hotel bars - they, respectively, also die at 11. The hotel is bare, surrounded by stunted bushes, and all the vegetation is on the neighboring island, where the isthmus leads. True, there the sea is very good and the pebbles are small.
