The food is normal, yes, the breakfasts are monotonous, but the dinners are great, meat, fish, seafood, salads, fruits, confectionery, ice cream, it's hard not to choose something to your liking. It is better not to drink water from the tap, they took a boiler, a lot of salts fall out during boiling. Nice beach, only the steps are slippery for going down into the water, you need to be careful, and after lunch the tides are low, the water drops about a meter, it’s not very comfortable to swim, you can catch a stone. We went on a boat trip along the Istra coast, with a stop in the cities of Porich and Rovinj, with lunch on a boat, not bad, but it costs 510 kn. You can go from Umag from the bus station by yourself, a ticket to Porich costs 39 kn, it takes about 30-45 minutes to drive. and buses run throughout the day. It takes 5.5 hours to go to Plitvice Lakes one way, far. They say that you can rent a car for 300 kn, it’s convenient, you can travel around Croatia yourself. Visually, this hotel is the best one around.

I went to Croatia not to swim in the sea and lie on the beach, such a vacation for me is boring. But there are all the conditions for this. When I arrived in Croatia, I immediately learned about the car rental and the next day ahead to unknown places. And there is something to see in Croatia. And it's not just what tour companies offer.
When you just drive on the roads you get to know the culture of another country and you can stop anywhere you like, for example; in a village that produces wine, cheese or olive oil and try it to taste. And the view of the mountains, it is different everywhere from the bus, you will not see it. I can write a lot more, but back to the resort. Location Umag is very convenient, close to many attractions, and this city of Hum is the smallest in the world only 60 km. Plitvice Lakes - 280 km. Zagreb - 285 km. And if you have a Schengen visa, then only 30 km to Italy. This is not true without a visa to Venice, it may have been once, but it is not possible now. The sea is 50 meters from the hotel, on a path of coniferous trees and very clean air.
