To the sea - 30 meters, through the promenade and the beach (municipal). The sea is excellent, although the water was invigorating. The water is clean (for lovers of diving - that's it). The beaches are pebbles. The beaches are clean. Sun loungers and umbrellas are naturally paid, 20 kn a piece or 35 bundles (although September is clearly the end of the season and prices are falling).
The rooms are small but very comfortable. Some rooms have small balconies, other rooms have a large French window with shutters, like "Juliet's balcony". Our room was clean, plumbing in excellent condition. Cleaned regularly and very responsibly. Change of linen every two days, towels - daily, the main thing is not to forget to throw on the floor. After cleaning, no odors from detergents.
Food. Who needs an Egyptian-Turkish variety with an abundance of dishes, sauces, cakes, custards, etc. - The hotel is not for you. For those who have enough quality European dishes, everything will be fine. Vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, dairy, diet meals. During the meal, the table is assigned to you for the entire period. Flies, flies yes - fly: o ((
One can say separately about the Kasteleta restaurant - the cuisine is good. On the embankment, two restaurants were regularly filled during lunch and dinner hours - the restaurant Kasteleta and Marina. But they serve rakija vodka badly - in a whiskey glass with ice and lemon... only the product was translated. That's when I went to the villages upstairs, to the Mountain Tucepi and those nearby, there I talked with the peasants like that under the conversation, in a pile, a liqueur of your choice and a bite of bread with olive oil... eh...
Minus the hotel - the Internet. Coupons for an hour, 0.5 hours and 15 minutes. Those that I did not see for an hour at all, those that ended for 0.5 hours immediately. I had to gain 15 minutes and suffer. Well, in terms of money, you lose 10 kunas, 1.5 euros per hour - not much, but it's a shame out of the blue. Yes, they didn’t take a card at the hotel bar - only cash.
The hotel is an honest 4 stars, excellently located, with good, albeit not very varied cuisine, helpful and polite staff.
I also want to say about the host - Panoramic. For the first time in my trips, the guide did not come to see me off - they sent the driver's bus with a list. The two girls were never found. Already after Baska Voda, they met a bus that was driving specifically for them. And the excursion with Elena to Dubrovnik is fantasy, a section of alternative history. I was surprised to learn that a Dalmatian is not a dog, it is a resident of Dalmatia (she said Dalmatia, that is, exactly as it is written in Latin). And if you meet a short, short-legged, blond-haired, big-nosed person - this is an Illyrian, there are very few of them left, but they still exist.
If you go to this hotel - do not take food, you can eat in the numerous bars along the beach much cheaper. Although not the fact that it will be tasty. I personally saw how the bartenders took soup from the buffet and carried it outside, to an open restaurant where people ate for money.
If you were in Istria and you liked it there - here (in Dalmatia) you may be disappointed - these are two different Croatias.
Kastelet is the best hotel, and the city of Tucepi is a paradise on Earth for those who have small children or who want a quiet, I repeat - a quiet, peaceful holiday. I can characterize it like this - Kashtelet and Tucepi - this is the place where I would like to meet old age.
I have never seen better service and attitude anywhere in the world. Russians for them are "brothers Slavs".
The food is excellent. I recovered by 4 in a week! kg. I was just embarrassed to leave leftovers on the plates when the chefs tried so hard. Everything is amazingly delicious. I once lived in Hayatt for 3000 euros - Kashtelet is 100 times better.
