Summer 2012 decided to dedicate to Croatia. The ticket was taken last minute to a new, recently built in front of the main building, which is located 30 meters from the beach. By nature, I am not a picky person, but for this hotel I can note many unpleasant moments starting from the check-in. We arrived at Split airport at 11.

Summer 2012 decided to dedicate to Croatia. The ticket was taken last minute to a new, recently built in front of the main building, which is located 30 meters from the beach.
By nature, I am not a picky person, but for this hotel I can note many unpleasant moments starting from the check-in.
We arrived at Split airport at 11.00 pm, we were met by a Turtess representative, after which we very quickly arrived at Sveti Kriz, at the reception there was a grandfather who spoke neither Russian nor English. No one took the suitcase, no one took it to the room, and it turned out that people were sleeping in it when we opened the doors, after which we dealt with the same grandfather for a long time, he is in his own language, we are in ours...... And after after we got not the best room, we found that the TV, refrigerator, wardrobe were broken in it, the light bulbs near the bed were burnt out IN THE NEW BODY. We ate in the main building, constantly crossing the rather active road, but this didn’t hurt me more, but the fact that no one cleaned the tables after the previous vacationers, there were always stained white tablecloths and crumbs on the table. There was no abundance of food.
There were no safes in the rooms, so I gave my wallet to the safe at the reception, after which I sweated a lot when I came to pick it up - they looked for it for about 10 minutes. Gravel was poured on the beach, it was very painful to lie without sunbeds, and a sunbed costs 4 euros.
In general, I can note that there is no hospitality in the hotel, there are so many nuances that I would not recommend the hotel to my friends. What I can’t say about Croatia itself - IT IS BEAUTIFUL, what I saw on various islands made me forget about all the troubles in the hotel.
I advise Croatia, Sveti Kriz 3* I DO NOT ADVISE!!!!!!! !

I wasn’t going to write a review, because this hotel was chosen as the lesser of two evils in the Trogir area (we don’t like big hotels, but they offered either Meden or Jadran) and there weren’t “our” tourists at all and my husband and I They even asked how we got here. This year I saw Sveti Kriz in the list of offers from tour operators and decided to write, maybe it will be useful to someone.

Initially, Sveti Kriz is translated as "holy cross", and is located nearby a small church with an adjoining one. . . cemetery, and in every corner of the hotel (including the rooms) there is a picture with a colorful cross on a black background. The hotel itself is not new, our room was quite comfortable on the top floor overlooking the sea. We didn’t order the view in advance, what we asked for was given without surcharges. There was no cleaning, there were no Russian-language channels. The staff does not understand Russian, even English is not all. On the ground floor of the hotel there is a Jimmy supermarket, the assortment is large, very handy. They took HB food, fed normally, soundly, without frills (there was no seafood). There is a small pool, not very clean, no one swam in it. The beach is public, dirty. There is a small area of sandy embankment, the rest is pebbles. We sunbathed on the pier. Everywhere are stationary umbrellas, sunbeds, for the money. The sea is dirtier than in other regions. Opposite the hotel across the water area is the airport. Airplanes are heard, but it does not interfere at all. It's even fun to watch airplanes in the dark. Now about the unpleasant moments. The main disadvantage is that there is a very (!!!!!!! ) busy road between the hotel and the beach, along which many cars move around the clock. This road leads from Trogir and around the island. Trogir itself is 4-5 km away, you can easily walk, but it's very unpleasant. Firstly, the road is continuous turns and there is no sidewalk, and secondly, the mass of cars that drive at a fairly decent speed, well, plus dust. The second minus is that the balcony in the room has to be shared with neighbors (one for two rooms). Extremely inconvenient!! ! We were lucky that in September the hotel was not very full and we did not have permanent neighbors. Well, the last negative: a few days after arrival, they began to pay attention to a large number of new arrivals, it turned out that the hotel was used as a transit for tourist groups for 1-2 days. So these days, without warning, the buffet for dinner was replaced by portions, without bothering to find out who wants what. The tables are dirty, the tablecloths are dirty, the wait is long. There is no entertainment nearby, in September even cafes were no longer working. All this didn’t bother us much, because we practically didn’t stay at the hotel and chose it for its cheapness (which you can’t say for this year) and proximity to Split, Trogir, etc. Before that, we spent a week in Baska Voda in a good 4 *, and in the second week I wanted to go sightseeing. You can get to Trogir by bus or boat by sea (schedules hang at the reception), but in September the boats no longer went. To Split - either by bus through Trogir, or you can take a bus to the extreme point of the island (I don’t remember the name of the village - the final bus) and by sea by ferry (wonderful walk !!!! ). Like this. My conclusion is that as a beach hotel and as a holiday with children, I would not consider this hotel. As an economy option to see the sights of Central Dalmatia on your own, yes. Decide. Reviews for this hotel are only on booking, if you have any questions, I will answer.
