I must say right away: I went to Croatia for a change, I have not been there yet. Last year we rested in Greece, so a parallel was drawn all the time, and I will say right away not in favor of Croatia. We stayed in apartments (4+1). There were 4 of us, we were lucky with the location, the first row to the sea, although in the evenings the music was screaming on the shore, but not for long, somewhere until one in the morning. We ate mostly ourselves, and never regretted it, their products, of course, are excellent. Natural, fresh: cheese, milk, butter and olive oil, fish, meat. We bought everything, mainly in Trogir at the bazaar (it’s better to visit the fish market in the morning, everything is very fresh there, prices are about the same as in Kyiv, but fresh). Vegetables in the market are also not cheaper than in our country. Very tasty cheese: somewhere around 12-13 euros per 1 kg (us in supermarkets is 400-4500 UAH per 1 kg. ) Of course, they have cheaper cheese, but not like that. Wine in restaurants - 12 euros per 1 liter, but very good. There are only 4 types of beer, but after their beer, I don’t even want to try ours (although not a special connoisseur and lover of beer in general). The last two days we had to move to a hotel. I warn everyone who goes to the hotel, what is called standard in all countries, they have a suite !! ! Therefore, except in a suite, I do not advise staying in other rooms (turkdass without air conditioning and repair, and standard without a refrigerator). And the suite has a great view of the sea, and a more or less decent interior. From restaurants I advise you to visit: Jokes (green signs, all in greenery, if you leave the hotel along the main steps to the beach, then go right) and Zule (from the steps to the left for about 5 minutes, towards Troigir). I also advise you to go to the beach in the direction of Jokes - before reaching it there is an ice cream parlor and opposite sunbeds and a normal entrance to the sea, and cool hosts - they charge 20 kunas for a sunbed, they don’t take money for an umbrella, and they even make discounts (there were 4 of us , and paid for 3). If you go down the stairs from the hotel, to the left is the first concrete beach, there is an abnormal and nasty owner. Not only is it expensive there, so we sat down on a sunbed in the evening - he jumped out screaming like crazy - this is my private territory, get out of here! For variety, you can rent a car. no fun there. But the prices are not cheap, however, like everything in Croatia. They took Peugeot 307 with mechanics - 70 euros per day with full insurance. We went to Split, Sibenik, just along the coast, and the next day, to Plitvice Lakes. This is 260 km inland, 150 kilometers we go along the autobahn, the rest is all according to the signs to Zagreb, then to the Lakes. You can't visit Croatia without visiting Plitvice Lakes! This is the most beautiful thing there is! If I draw a conclusion from the rest in Croatia, I can say that I will hardly go there again. Nature is very good, but in the place where we were: prices are high, but no service. They say that in Dubrovnik the service is better, but after looking at the prices there, I think it's not worth it. Have a great holiday everyone. There will be questions, I will answer!
