The cost of pizza is from 25 to 47 kunas, 200 g of wine - 14 kunas, Latte coffee ("Bela cava") - 14 kunas, meat with garnish - 60 kunas. Moreover, the portions are very (! ) Large, you can safely take one for two))). The exchange rate of the kuna in relation to the euro is 7.35. I am completely delighted with the hotel and the rest in Poreč ))))

Animation in 5 languages, including Russian. Experienced tourists noted that the hotel has no security at all. To be honest, it seemed to me that this was simply not necessary. For families with small children in Istria, one obvious minus is the beach (concrete platform or stones), and the stone bottom, it is not very comfortable for children to swim (my daughter, after she saw the bottom , refused to go into the sea, but for her, in any case, the main thing on vacation was the pool. In Materada there are 2 of them, a small one for children and a large one, both with fresh water). The beaches are municipal, but very clean. There are no other hotels in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (there is a campsite adjoining only on one side).
Regarding the room - in our case, a triple room, not large (they couldn’t find a place for a suitcase), a folding chair for a child, a table with chairs on the balcony, a TV in the room, a spacious wardrobe, a mirror - a necessary minimum. Our conclusion: for the first trip, Croatia is a wonderful and comfortable holiday destination for a novice tourist. Hotel Materada is a comfortable family hotel.

If you walk from the hotel for 15 minutes along the beach or along the road, you can take a tourist mini-train and get to Poreč for 10 kunas, it also takes about 15 minutes to go.
Tip - before the trip, learn a few phrases in Croatian and repeat a little English, you will feel more comfortable.

And the wind, there were 14 days, 10 of them were wind and a wave on the sea during the day. And the wave is just like this - "torn". Now about the pros: very tasty food for dinner, a lot of meat, different things, fish, Thursdays are especially good. food is all fresh. There is some tension with fruit, but how do you solve it. Rooms are small, but clean. They pick it up okay. The presence of large trees on the lawns solves all problems with the shade. We went to dine in a cafe and the territory was inexpensive, tasty. The climate is dry and easy to breathe. In general, next time I will choose something closer to the city, well, at least half.

But you can not go into the sea, but immediately jump into it from a concrete slab, or go down the stairs, but the depth immediately begins there.
