I rested in Croatia for the first time, so when choosing a hotel, we relied on all-inclusive and a beach convenient for children (2 children 14 years old and 4 years old). After jerks and refusals of hotels when booking (August is still the high season), we still stopped at this hotel, minus the transfer from Dubrovnik Airport was 2.5 hours by minibus. Now, in fact - I will not persuade you to go there or, on the contrary, dissuade, I will simply describe everything that I saw myself, but it's up to you to decide anyway. This hotel is the largest in Orebic. Clean, cute, no frills. The rooms went to the garden (we read the view of the mountain of St. Elijah and the parking lot) with a false balcony. Subsequently, I was offered to replace 1 room with a sea view, but we did not move because there was a false balcony, but for us this is important: we love to sit on the balcony with my wife in the evening. That is, there are rooms with balconies, but there are very few of them, all with sea views. Now about the room - quite standard, safe, mini bar empty (as Tony said at the reception of the "Holy Bar"). There are no beach towels in the hotel, so either take it with you or in the store for 120 kunas = 24 US dollars. Alcoholic drinks are all locally produced, wine is diluted in the main restaurant, so I took it from a bottle in a nearby bar, there are no fresh juices, all juices are powdered. In the morning tea, coffee in the main restaurant, in the afternoon and later only in the bar. There are 2 more bars at the reception and on the beach that are not included in the all-inclusive system. The food was good, seafood was: tuna, shark, moquel, sea bass, etc. , turkey meat, chicken, pork, beef. Everything is delicious but by the end of 2 weeks it starts to get boring. Saved cafes in the city. The beach can be divided into 2 parts - on the right if you look at the sea there is a rocky bottom, on the left it is more convenient with an entrance to the sea along pebbles and then sand. But there is a catch: in the neighborhood, right on the embankment, there is a collector for processing sewage, right under the pool of the Bellevue Hotel, which, frankly, really stinks. And when the wind from Orebić , these smells reached our beach. Animation is, focused mainly on children, well done 2 French animators and 2 Croatian. Otherwise, to a minimum - water aerobics, darts, dance lessons, yoga, and other unpretentious games. in the evening, mini disco and then karaoke, bingo, Mr. Hotel, etc. , etc. , everything is near the bar, singers with local flavor came a couple of times. The room is cleaned every day, towels are changed somewhere every 4 days. It is very convenient to go along the embankment to the city center - and from there by sea to about. Karchulu for 12 kunas by boat, 15 minutes journey. Then you can go to Dubrovnik and Split and other places by sea on speedboats, which is convenient, unlike renting a car, since the mountain road does not like jokes. In general, everyone liked it, the country is beautiful, the people are friendly, the language is not a problem, they understood each other quite easily. Nearby on the mountain is the San Francian monastery and even further the excellent cafe Panorama.
