About the hotel: 3 * was built in Yugoslav times, the style of that time is largely traced, but it has been restored quite well. lived in the main building, the rooms are small but neat, furniture, plumbing - new, ind. air conditioning, balcony, LCD TV, 1 Russian channel - Russia, cleaned well, safe for free. The food is not bad, but for breakfast the set of dishes does not change - the standard set - muesli, yogurt, eggs, sausages, cottage cheese, honey jam, ... for dinner, the choice is normal and varies, drinks are all paid for dinner. Meat and fish were every day. There are very few fruits - mostly bananas and oranges. Ice cream - cake, too. All in all, you won't go hungry. The beach is good - at the entrance there are probably 2 meters of small pebbles, and then sand. There is no special entertainment in the hotel, the hotel is for a relaxing holiday, there are many people of retirement age. There is an indoor pool with sea water, a small spa, just launched an outdoor pool. Yes, if you do not speak English-German, then it will be difficult for you to communicate with the staff, do not rely on the similarity of languages - very often it is not at all clear what they are talking about, although if you know Ukrainian, it will be a little easier. They do not know Russian at all (although this is not only in the hotel - in Croatia somehow it didn’t work out with Russian - you won’t even see the inscriptions). In general, if you want to take a break from the bustle of the city, get acquainted with the sights of Croatia and not only (the borders of Bosnia and Montenegro are very close), then this hotel is a good option....

To be honest, Croatia is a country of amazing nature and the sea, but the Croats... this is a different story, constantly angry, wanting to make money on you, deceive you, people . . after the benevolent Montenegrins, they were very disappointed. If it is not profitable for them, then they pretend that they do not understand either Russian or English... And now about the hotel: the rooms for three stars are excellent, almost all with a view of the sea or mountains. Sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are paid (3 euros), if you want to lie on the rocks, then take hard bedding with you, it is advisable to have shoes for entering the sea, there is no toilet on the beach!
ATTENTION:
- the hotel is very close to Dubrovnik, BUT very far from other sights of Croatia. We were offered an excursion to the Plitvice Lakes for 180 euros per person, since it is very far (about 550 km one way, crossing the border of Bosnia, 150 km along a mountain serpentine, and then along a paid autobahn), we refused, threw money ourselves, took a car for hire, with entrance tickets everything cost 60 euros per person !!! ! But we drove for a very long time. But Plitvice Lakes impressed!
- the food is very weak, they don’t even give water for dinner, only for a fee, about 3 euros a glass!
- MAIN MINUS: to the nearest shop, to buy water at least, you need to go uphill for about 20 minutes!!! ! You can’t buy anything else from food and drinks anywhere else, only in restaurants, and in Croatia everything is expensive. The cost of an ordinary magnet in translation of kunas into euros is about 2-3 euros.
- there is no open pool, there is only a closed one, but it stinks of chlorine so much that it is impossible to be in it!
PLUS: near Montenegro and you can go there on excursions.
вид из номера территория пляж, море красивое, но очень крупная галька на территории много гранатовых, лаймовых и оливковых деревьев территория номер до ближайшего магазина ОЧЕНЬ далеко идти вгору!!!!

The room is comfortable, there is a TV, air conditioning, for a fee you can put a small refrigerator, there is also a safe. View from the window to the sea and the garden. The cemetery is also visible, but it is practically hidden from view by trees. The cemetery, by the way, is active. Towels changed every day, bed linen every 3 days. Bathroom fixtures are new and work well. Around the hotel there is a beautiful garden. Flowering trees, orange grove. The beach is within walking distance. The beach is pebbly. It is problematic to enter the water without special slippers. Purchased on the first day. By the way, in the hotel building there is a shop that sells accessories necessary for a sea holiday - slippers, masks, etc. , souvenirs. Also in the building of the hotel there is a hairdresser, beauty salon, gym. They were afraid that the water in the sea would be cool due to the flowing mountain river, but the water was warm, swimming is normal. At least in July. Food - we had breakfast and dinner - wonderful. The only thing is that drinks at dinner are paid. The place is quiet, suitable for families with children and the elderly. There are also young people, in the evenings they mostly hang out in bars in Srebreno (20 minutes walk from Mlini). So I advise for those who prefer a relaxing holiday)

The hotel is in the style of Soviet times, furniture, windows, blinds, sanitary ware in the style of a scoop. Air conditioning pre-revolutionary. The rooms are practically not cleaned. Beach - one name. Not pebbles, but stones, and boulders under water, the belly can be torn open, it’s better not to swim without a mask. … More ▾ The hotel is in the style of Soviet times, furniture, windows, blinds, sanitary ware in the style of a scoop. Meals in a chic hotel restaurant with aunts-waitresses the same age as Joseph Broz Tito. The food is very poor, even poor, there are almost no vegetables. The hotel absolutely spoiled the impression of the tour Montenegro-Croatia. People go to Montenegro. Everything is cheaper by 2 times and the service is 2 times better.

The fourth time in Horatia and the first time in South Dalmatia, the overall impression of the trip is good, the flight without delays there and back flew Trans-Aero. Departure from Moscow at a convenient time for us at 12.15 at 14.30 without delay settled in a room on the 4th floor with a side sea view, the room is small, but very cozy and clean, many in the reviews about this hotel write that the furniture is soldered, we have furniture in the room it was new with a good double bed, the bathroom with a shower, the plumbing was new and served us flawlessly, we were pleased with the ventilation. … More ▾ The fourth time in Horatia and the first time in South Dalmatia, the overall impression of the trip is good, the flight without delays there and back flew Trans-Aero. The only drawback was that the Russian TV channel did not show. that's exactly what was in abundance. Fruits, melons, watermelons of excellent quality and in sufficient quantity, in short, I put a solid 5 for food.
The location of the hotel is better than you can imagine, everything in the flowers and greenery of the botanical garden, silence and trilling of birds in the morning, and Mlini itself is shrouded in silence and tranquility, even the slowness of the local waiters in numerous coffee shops does not irritate, but rather pacifies. Those who want to have fun hang out in Mlini, Alas! you are not here.
The beach next to the hotel is large-pebbly, it’s not convenient to enter the water, and it’s not very pleasant to swim around the boulders, you can plow with your belly, which gives little pleasure, the mountain river flowing into the sea noticeably cools the water. Sunbeds are paid price for Croatia standard 20 kunas. We used this beach 3 times, and then went to the beaches of Srebreno for 10 minutes. walking pace and sheer pleasure. The weather was not lucky, only the first three days everything was OK! and subsequent with variable weather were cool days with torrential short rains with thunder and wind. I had to cancel the trip to Montenegro, but, on the other hand, how lucky I was with the trip to Dubrovnik 22 * -24 * partly cloudy, to inspect this amazing place, you can’t imagine who was there, he knows what it means to tour Dubrovnik in the heat. We traveled by minivan hotel shuttle 40 kunas per person round trip very convenient.
In Mlini, in Srebreno there are a lot of cafes, or kanobs, all of them are clean and comfortable, and the cuisine is decent, there are a lot of sea delicacies, excellent beer and good wine. The promenade is something unforgettable, a beautiful path along the entire coast, a beauty indescribable, I recommend it to those who are going to Dubrovnik and want to enjoy the tranquility, wonderful and very healthy air. When choosing Asterea-1 or 2, do not worry about the deuce, not nearly worse, the numbers are one to one.

The range of food is not very rich, but everything is very tasty, especially the grilled fish.
All rooms of Astarea II (Studenac) face the sea, but in my opinion the most picturesque view opens from the upper floors. The sea is so close that we fell asleep to the sound of the surf.
By the way, most of the rooms in the main building do not have a direct sea view, and where the sea view is direct, a small cemetery gets into the view, if this bothers someone, then keep in mind.
The place is awesome, the nature is very beautiful, the air is clean. If you are looking not for parties, but for a relaxing holiday, then this place is one of the best.
A small minus can be considered the fact that the water on the hotel's beach is somewhat cool, since a cold mountain stream flows into the sea nearby, but not icy, of course. On the city beach, the water is much warmer and the bottom is sandy.
Srebreno has two supermarkets and a bank. You can also change money at the hotel, but if you're not too lazy, you can walk to the bank, save about 20 kunas per 100 euros : ) and this is almost a bottle of wine.
P. S. If you want to relax cheaper, then I recommend paying attention to the Mlini hotel, it also belongs to the Astarea complex and dinner is held there. This hotel stands right on the promenade, so the beach is just a stone's throw away.
