Excellent hotel. Near the sea. Normal beach. Although, of course, pebbles. But you can immediately buy slippers to enter the sea nearby. The beach, of course, is paid, as everywhere in Europe. The water is clean and warm. At least at the end of September 2009 it was warm. I have been to almost all European countries, including good hotels in Switzerland, Italy and France, and I will say that this hotel is not inferior to them. I think those people who criticize the hotel and Croatia hate everything and everyone, except for themselves, and you should not focus on such people. The country itself is interesting. The city of Dubrovnik is worth a trip on your own. Because during the tour they don’t lead you to the wall, and this is the most interesting thing. On the wall, even with a quick step, you can get around the city in no less than an hour. Amazing views open up!
Naturally, this is a vacation for people with some intelligence. There is no endless food and drink. Although, if someone needs only this, then you can get drunk anywhere, including in Croatia.
I went on excursions in Montenegro. I advise you to go on a sea excursion, and not along a serpentine. Faster, safer. You can see more. I was on a tour of Croatia itself. Also very interesting. Best of all, of course, individual excursions. You can see and understand much more than when you walk in a herd. Traveled to Bosnia and Herzegovina. A strong impression of the bridge, which was destroyed and now restored again. Herzegovina gives the impression of an oriental medieval bazaar. Very colorful.

In general, even for my very pretentious taste - the trip is wonderful and the hotel is excellent.
