The hotel is as advertised. Excellent. Quiet. Live music. On the seashore. Outdoor cafe overlooking the sea. the food is good. There are many fruits. Every day watermelons, melons, pineapples, ice cream.
Cleaned every day and did not take a tip. The security is complete. The SPA is excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything is chic, European, restrained, sincere, a nice playground, all the people are kind, the embankment is excellent, Fish restaurants, trampolines, and most importantly, everyone is kind, amazingly soft bed, clean water (and tap water in the room too) !!!! ! !!
I'm 26. I had a rest with my son. This charm of old Europe is worth it. And they rented a taxi car. See you there
I recommend to everyone
We flew to Croatia on a honeymoon, straight from the banquet on the plane. And in 2 hours we were in Croatia. The truth here is that Turkey and Egypt cannot be compared to Croatia - they are fundamentally different types of recreation. We stopped in Solin. Quick check-in at the reception and we enter the room. And there is a bed strewn with rose petals and other flowers, swans are made of towels, fruit lies on a tray and in a bucket of ice is champagne and two glasses. Room with gorgeous sea views.
About Croatia - this is a Slavic country, so the mentality, language is close to ours. Nature is also similar to our Crimean: willows, poplars. a cross between Ukrainian and Russian, but with a Carpathian accent.
Excursions: Split and Plitvice Lakes were chosen. In short - I liked it here and there.
Split was remembered, of course, as Diocletian's Palace - I called it the Palace of Contrasts.
Plitvice Lakes are a beauty, words cannot tell, I want to sit there for hours. It is better to go there for 2 days. There were times in every direction in restaurants for someone to eat, smoke and pee. It would be better to go without stops. Makarska can be picked up at the reception. Cost - 15 kuna.
Well, since there are reviews about the hotel, a little more about it. He was 3 *, now he is 4 *. The hotel is good, the rooms are good, the plumbing is good, German Hansgrohe. We had a gorgeous sea view. Food - monotonous in the morning, the same thing every morning, although the choice is enough - boiled eggs, different omelets, icing, slicing a bunch of different, greased bacon, muesli, lots of fruit - well, just enough, but every morning the same.
Drinks in the morning are free, different types of coffee, milk, tea, water, several types of juices. Dinner is very good, 3-4 types of meat, 2-3 types of fish or can products, I recommend trying salads with seafood. Drinks are paid. And 200 g of wine costs the same as a bottle of water.
Well, the sea .....
The sea and nature are gorgeous.
If someone needs to tell something in more detail
If you are focused on a beach holiday and first of all appreciate the cleanest, most transparent sea, as well as the beauty of the surrounding nature and solitude - you are here. The famous Punta Rata beach, which stretches for several kilometers and has a Blue Flag, was included in the top ten most beautiful beaches in the world in 2004 by Forbs magazine.
The hotel was chosen based on online reviews. They were very satisfied. Fully corresponds to its 4 *. In 2006 Blusan Soline was completely updated. If you can afford it, take a room with a sea view. The hotel operates under the Half Board system. Drinks at dinner for an additional fee. The food is very decent.
In Brela itself there are many cafes and restaurants (in Croatia they are called "konoba") serving excellent seafood and good white wine. True European prices. A dinner for two with wine costs an average of 300-400 kunas (approximately 75-100 dollars). But, believe me, it's worth it.
Since they were not in Croatia for the first time, they were not particularly eager for excursions. In 2007, we were in South Dalmatia, not far from Dubrovnik, so we already managed to see something (both Dubrovnik, and the island of Mljet, and swim on the Dolores yacht with swims in the grottoes and on the Elaphite islands). We chose an excursion to Split-Trogir. Many people probably know that Split is famous for the palace of Diakletian (the Roman emperor, who renounced the throne and lived out his life growing cabbages, a kind of modern "downshifter"). Those who have been to Rome say that Split is somewhat similar to it. A beautiful embankment paved with white stone, which is mined on the island of Brac. By the way, the White House in Washington was built from this stone.
Trogir - a small town, is under the protection of UNESCO, famous for the Cathedral of St. Lovro, Palazzo Chipico.
Croatia was under the rule of the Venetians for 400 years, so the architecture is very reminiscent of Italian.
Guides, as a rule, actively offer an excursion to Plitvice Lakes. If you want to go there within 4 hours and, accordingly, 4 hours back - go. The favorite saying of all guides and tourists who have read Croatian guidebooks is "He who has not seen Plitvice Lakes has not seen Croatia. " We decided to postpone Plitvice for the next time, and I think this did not affect the impressions that the holiday in Croatia made on us.
In Croatia, you need to relax, enjoying the Adriatic, the sun, amazing nature, excellent Mediterranean cuisine, good wine. Well, if someone thinks that they will recognize Croatia through the glass of a sightseeing bus, then believe me - they are very mistaken.
Have a good rest and wish you to fall in love with Croatia so that you will come back here more than once.
