Impressions are ambiguous: on the one hand, God did everything to make people feel like in paradise (the sea is amazing in purity and transparency, awesome nature, great weather), on the other hand, people (primarily local residents) do everything to spoil the experience. It seems that the Crimea was taken as a basis (not by the night, be remembered). Moreover, people do this not out of malice, but because of their own carelessness. But, in general, I will try in order:
When buying a ticket, they chose a room with a balcony, they gave an end room with a magnificent view of the sea. But unfortunately, in addition to the sea, this room also overlooks the Croatian "Olympic reserve pool" and the hotel restaurant. We didn’t have a single good night: then in the “pool” (actually a concrete trough 50x30 m with 5 rows of benches) they shoot “Yadranski Igor” (a sort of local version of the “Patriot Games”), and then they dismantle the scenery until the morning , then a local wedding is celebrated in the restaurant (an ethnographic spectacle is quite interesting, but it is somewhat tiring until 4 in the morning).
The hotel service is quite peculiar: for the entire time of our stay, we never changed linen (there were no problems with towels), although we left 5 EURO and their equivalent in kunas (local tugriks). They took the money, but we did not feel the return. Another not pleasant nuance - there is no black tea. And I, and especially my wife, love black tea, preferably with bergamot. Well, the fact that there was no opportunity to drink tea in the room is more or less understandable: people promoted the sale of their minibar, but the fact that there was no black tea in the restaurant surprised me. There were all sorts of herbal teas, green tea in abundance. Black - no. By the way, as I was told, the locals themselves do not drink tea. Although, as for me, this is their personal problem, but in a restaurant it should be.
Another disadvantage of the hotel is a very small private pool: there could be no more than 12 sunbeds near the pool. Naturally, they were occupied from the very early morning. The rest, go wherever you want. You could want to go to the city beach (“blue flag”, walk 30 meters), but even in September there were a lot of people there, and I’m even afraid to imagine what’s going on there in the season. I think it's worse than on the Yalta city beach at the same time. And one more unpleasant touch: both the beach and the bottom of the sea are dirty (there are a lot of cigarette butts on the shore, in the sea at the bottom of the bottle, paper, foil... ). Although the water itself is very clean.
Leisure outside the hotel: these are all kinds of excursions. I recommend going to the Plitvice Lakes (despite the crowds of tourists (literally crowds) (and this is in September! What is going on there in the high season) is very beautiful. I would advise you to book an excursion to the islands on your own, and why choose small boats (on 40-100 seats). Their tour is much more extensive and interesting. Large (the so-called modern high-speed large yachts) are stupidly driven to the island with swimming in a salt lake and taken back after 4 hours. Small boats, as a rule, make a detour of the archipelago , we had, in addition, an excursion to the lighthouse. We were on the salt lake for 1.5 hours, but as for me half of this time would be enough: nothing interesting, by the way, the beaches on the lake are not equipped, but people... Excursion around Zadar it’s better to start at noon and go there without a guide, there is something to see, and it’s impossible to meet at 4 o’clock. The same applies to a trip to Split (only you need to leave in general in the morning). In general, we traveled by regular buses, the speed of mail and the same, the comfort is European, and the maneuverability is much higher. And yes, it saves a lot of money.
Meals outside the hotel - as lucky. We ended up in a very good kitchen and in the “rygalovka”. Moreover, the prices and appearance of the restaurant with the kitchen had no external relationship.
Summing up, the general feeling from Beograd on the sea is like from a village, to which they explained in general terms what tourism is, that it brings a lot of money. As a result, there is a lot of desire to do something, but the result does not match the expected.
