We originally ordered an apartment with a kitchen and two bedrooms. Luckily, it happened - the room was quite spacious, on the second floor. These are our 2 rooms of 15 meters each, a kitchen of 5 meters, a baby hallway and, most importantly, a huge terrace for one family of 15 meters, into which there are two exits from each room. There are few such apartments in Urania - in similar houses nearby, the same second floor is divided into two families and has two stairs, in ours (No. 27 C) there is only one staircase to the 2nd floor (there is also one balcony for two families both on the first and second floor). By the way, it’s more pleasant to live on the second floor, because after all, it’s not so visible to everyone - there is generally a decent walk-through yard, a lot of nearby houses. There is no view of the sea, but the pines decorate very much, and from the kitchen at least a view of the mountains and flowering shrubs. The rooms are clean and white. The furniture, of course, is cheap and unpretentious, but this is not very depressing. Curtains and blankets are completely synthetic.
But the double bed is very comfortable - wide and with a good orthopedic mattress.
The beaches are large-pebbly, quite annoying: either all the time in synthetic slippers or painful walking. But if you go further, there is a small pebble.

In general, many things are very pleasant, the sea is beautiful, the pine trees hang down, creating endless shadows, umbrellas are not needed. But there are insanely many people on the beach, in the shade by the middle of the day there is a person on a person, it can even be difficult to walk along the sea. And the main disadvantage, especially for those who want peace, relaxation in the evening, sit on the balcony, is a terrible children's disco, terribly loud, with the dumbest music like "They want to be like walking ducks ... ", starts at 20.00 to 22.00, but if take into account the translation of the clock 2 hours ago, which means that up to 24 hours you need to sit under this terrible accompaniment.
Because of this, it is impossible to open the windows, you have to use a dangerous air conditioner, otherwise the heat-stuffiness in the room forms during the day. And because of this, perhaps we will never go to this area of Croatia again. So you want peace ...By the way, it is not clear where it is generally quieter. After September 22, the discos ended, but they settled the neighbors, who stopped by a group of 10 people and settled in several bungalows, while they met on the neighboring balcony in the late evening right near our house and talked loudly and laughed until 3 am. It was hell, because, again, the windows cannot be closed, and the chirping is so loud and nasty that you can’t fall asleep if you wake up at night. In general, when choosing a place to live, you need to think through many points  …
There was no email. kettle! , washing machine, grater, corkscrew, mop or broom.
Utensils: sieve, 2 pans, steel bowl, plates, bowl, cups, spoons, forks, knives, cutting board, frying pan, Turk, washcloth, dishwashing detergent. I had to buy a cloth for the table. Electric stove with 2 burners. Small fridge freezer. Hanging shelf, cabinets under the sink. Safe at the reception 1 euro per day, every day 2 times they took out and put away a laptop there. Internet at the reception is free (no  in the room). No coffee grinders, juicers, vegetable peelers, corkscrews, toasters, ovens, everything is very simple. There are chairs and a table on the terrace. Carpet in the bedrooms, linoleum in the kitchen. Large mirror, table for a computer.
The supermarket KERUM is located quite close (up the road, not to the sea, but from the sea), where fruits and vegetables are quite cheap. The second store is also close, along the waterfront. There is a market in a completely different place, there are good tomatoes, in the supermarket they are bad.

A very meager choice of vegetation - dill is not for sale! No green onions, no avocados, no mangoes, no tasty melons...
The weather is hot, the water is slightly cool, I always went out with goosebumps. We rested from September 15 to 26.2011. On September 19, the sky was overcast, it was quite cold to swim without the sun. For two days quite terrible thunderstorms continued, everything ended with a terrible hurricane, which, I thought, would demolish our house, it lasted the whole night and half a day! So warm clothes, such as long-sleeved sweaters and long pants, must be taken. The child needed pajamas with long sleeves, woolen socks. Of course, both the husband and the child caught a cold: a runny nose, a cough ...In the sense of water, it is more pleasant for me to go there before the 20th of September, but not earlier than the beginning of September, because in August it is still very hot and there are a lot of people, as they say.
For 12 days, 11 nights without food with a flight from St. Petersburg, we paid 74 thousand rubles.
for three with a three-year-old child, for whom a full ticket is on the plane. With a transfer and a room with a kitchen and two bedrooms. The charter could be bought separately for 380 euros for each. But then how would we arrange the transfer ...It takes more than an hour to drive, taxis are very expensive. Therefore, the ticket turned out to be, if not cheaper, then not more expensive for sure and more convenient than doing everything on your own.

Now, upon arrival, we realized some more points. On the way to the airport (by the way, the flight to Croatia-Split - 3 hours 50 minutes! Back - 3 hours), and it takes more than an hour (to Baska Voda), we analyzed the places and it became clear that Baska Voda, and, apparently, Makarska - the best resorts, picturesque and equipped. In terms of self-feeding - now I understand that we were practically starving. They have something going on with the cultivation of fruits. Cucumbers and tomatoes are terrible, white rubber cabbage. This is not an exaggeration.

When I arrived in Russia and made a salad here, it seemed like heavenly bliss to me ...But this scarcity of food is compensated by the incredible pleasure of air, sea and warmth ...This moment is for those who cannot eat only fast food, which is offered there a lot, by the way. We brought with us an avocado (10 pcs) for a child, normal dates, etc. ! The only thing is fresh figs - class!
And a huge minus, really - it's noisy. There are a lot of scooters-motorcycles - apparently, a more convenient mode of transport, but they are very buzzing and driving until late, the roads surround all the apartments and everything is especially audible in the evening ...And foreigners are very noisy. In the evening, under the window, they will not even think to speak more quietly! They will roar as if they are alone in the world. Urania cannot be ordered because of this. Until the beginning of September, the daily evening discos are insanely loud, you can hear far away!
And if they end, you can hear people passing by your house endlessly, talking loudly.
And yet, I loved our house. If we lived there all alone...
In general, despite the cons, I did not want to leave! And this despite the fact that we did not travel anywhere at all (because of the child).
When we were on the bus, I thought the Soline Hotel was in a very cool location. But it's probably more expensive...
On the plane, we talked to a family. They were going to Meden (in Trogir). So, thanks to those who write reviews! We were also going to Medena, but in time we read a bunch of unflattering reviews. So, the woman on the plane confirmed that it was a terrible hotel in the sense of the Soviet of Deputies, and her underwear was stolen 2 times amount.
We didn’t have theft, although we sometimes left our phones, etc.
Trogir is close to the airport, convenient, but on the bus to Baska Voda, we somehow got a better look at Croatia! They say that Dubrovnik is a paradise! We haven't gotten there yet, but I hope to go next year, maybe by car! . .
By the way, it’s good to download a Croatian dictionary before the trip - it may be necessary to discuss something with the sellers ...Puno praise - thank you very much 
Please, please.
Thirty, pedesyat - thirty, fifty.
I wish everyone to enjoy visiting this wonderful country!
