We rested at the Zante Royal Resort in August this year, in the Vasilikos region. A good region for a family vacation, very quiet, calm, and, which pleasantly surprised, quite green.
They brought us to the hotel at 12:40, we waited until 14:00, since according to all European standards, check-in takes place after 14:00, and check-out is before 12:00.
They gave us a good room, the type that we booked (with a sea view). Everything is as usual in the room, nothing more: TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, safe (for an additional fee - 18 euros per week). The bathroom has a hair dryer, only soap from toiletries. There is a mini market on site where you can buy essentials at affordable prices.
The food at the hotel was very delicious. There were always fresh fruits, vegetables and salads. Different types of meat: pork, beef, chicken, rabbit meat.
My husband and I enjoyed the food prepared in the summer kitchen.
Pancakes were served in the morning, and delicious meat was fried in the evening.
It takes 3-4 minutes to walk to the beach, you can also go down by elevator or funicular. On the beach, sun loungers are paid - 4 euros a set.
The hotel area is very large: there are three swimming pools, three bars, water slides, a gym, sauna, massage (extra charge). There is also a tennis court, equipment can be borrowed free of charge at the reception.
For children, there is a mini-club on site with Russian-speaking animator Yasha, who gets along well with children.
Every evening, animations for children and adults were held on the stage near the bar.
