I was with my daughter 5 years old in September 2014 in Greece at the Alykes Park Bungalows Apartments on the island of Zakynthos. Before that, it was only on the island of Crete. We love freedom and independence, so we were delighted to be left to our own devices. I so want to have a cottage like that. Enjoy the silence of the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although, the hotel is quite close from the airport, we drove 35-40 minutes. The village, like the hotel, is called Alykes. We liked the beach and the hotel right away. On the territory of three apartments and 15 houses. We were pleasantly surprised when we learned that the owners use the olives grown in their hotel to make oil. The house seemed cozy and simple at the same time. We did not pay for air conditioning, because there was a mosquito net and it was not stuffy all the time. Saved. Of course there were mosquitoes. Yes, no one closed the terraces at night. Thank God, all things are intact and there were no “bad” cases. There are turnkey safes at the reception, the cost is already included in the ticket.
But the reception worked for 3 hours in the morning and in the evening. The house was cleaned every day and linen was changed too. Internet was only at the reception. And why is he in the house? They say that it is even harmful to have wi-fi where you sleep.


And in the evening we dressed up and went out to the reception hall, because we really liked talking with the owners. Hotel guides helped us with this. And then we went to relax in the olive grove. There were many children. Mostly preschoolers. And during the day, these holopuziki ran barefoot on the lawns. Tempered. For children, a convenient sandy long entrance to the sea. Slowly before him 5-7 minutes. The sea is gorgeous, the water is soft and enveloping. Warm, warmed up very well for the summer. My pimples “gone”, my hair became more obedient. We bought an umbrella and brought our own beach towels. Saved again. Who wanted to buy a sunbed from the bars.

We were on a sea cruise. Special thanks to Olya for this trip. This is our hotel. We went to the capital by car. 20-25 minutes.
LIDL is a supermarket there. There are more near us. It takes 3 minutes to walk to one, to the other in another village of Alikanas. The store is bigger and really reachable. Like

mentioned everything. In general, it is good, there is no tension anywhere. Very green everywhere, the sea is magical. We also really liked Zakynthos. No regrets, maybe we'll go again next year. We will see.
