Akti Hotel 2* is rather a city hotel. We rested on Thassos together with my husband in July 2012. We lived in a double room, all rooms overlook the sea (on the embankment), the location is very good - shops, cafes, pharmacies, a taxi rank and everything else is within walking distance, the beach is 5-10 minutes of a very leisurely walk, or even less . The room was small, the shower was cramped, but it didn’t bother us much, the balcony is also small, but you can fit in, besides, I remind you - the hotel is two stars. The rooms are cleaned daily, the linen is changed when every day, when every other day, the staff is very friendly, friendly. In general, a quiet, clean, comfortable and inexpensive hotel, I highly recommend it. The beach is sandy, clean, the water is clean, there are a large number of cafes on the beach, sunbeds and umbrellas are paid - you need to buy something in a cafe for at least 3 euros and use it all day. The menu in the cafe is in Greek and English, there are several cafes in the city with Russian-speaking staff and the menu is in Russian. Prices are reasonable, dinner for two is about 12-18 euros, including 0.5 local wine (very decent) with seafood a little more expensive. Tips are already included in the bill. The portions are huge, everything is very, very tasty, but the Greeks don’t know how to make barbecue : ). Taxi - 1 euro per km, payment strictly according to the meter. There is a rental car, bikes, Kavdrikov. Sea excursions can be taken on the street - completely safe. Thassos is an insanely beautiful island, you will never regret it (provided that you do not need a huge hotel area, animation, 24-hour all inc, etc. ). I really want to return to Thassos, but this year we decided to go to Zakynthos to see turtles, and we will return to Thassos again and even to the same hotel.
