I will share my impressions about the rest in the Achileon hotel. I went there alone for a week in September. Why did you choose this particular hotel? Everything is simple. It's affordable, cheap, and close to Chrissi Amoudia Beach (Golden Beach), which is where I've wanted to go for a long time.
Transfer company Mouzenidis Travel, despite the duration (I was traveling from Thessaloniki Airport) was very comfortable. When I arrived at the hotel, I was kindly met by the guide Georgis and immediately settled, and made an appointment for the evening.
On the territory, I want to say: I like that the hotel is located in an olive grove and surrounded by mountains, you immediately feel that you are in Greece. I also immediately drew attention to the pool, it is quite large and some of the sunbeds are in the shade of palm trees. There is a pool bar.
I did not expect much from the room, it is the most ordinary, but comfortable. There was a refrigerator, and air conditioning, and a TV and a cozy balcony overlooking the mountains. Of the minuses: there was no hair dryer and a paid safe (5 €).
Breakfast at the hotel is ordinary, but there is something to drink a cup of coffee and a hearty snack.
Well, the reason why I chose this hotel is the beautiful region of Goldn Beach itself, my friends told me a lot about it, and I myself read a lot about it and dreamed of getting there. And I did not lose! Everything is as in the pictures, even better.
I have no regrets and I really enjoyed my vacation! I'm sure I'll be back here again.

This hotel was recommended to us by our friends, because it is great for a relaxing holiday, budget price, near the excellent Golden Beach.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the hotel guide Georgis, who was friendly and helped us check in. The owner of the hotel himself was at the reception, he put us in a room, told us about the hotel's working hours, infrastructure and territory.
The room suited us, it had air conditioning, hair dryer, TV and telephone. The view from the room we had on the garden, the landscape of the territory was beautiful, you could watch the olive groves and well-groomed flower beds.
For breakfast there were several types of scrambled eggs, sausages and cheese, bread, butter, jam. We also liked the local Greek coffee.
There was a swimming pool on the territory, where, in addition to the sea, we swam. Sunbeds are free, we could order drinks next to the pool or have a bite to eat there. Loved the freshly squeezed orange juice.
It takes about 15 minutes to go to the sea, but when we walked, we didn’t notice the time, as we enjoyed nature and mountains. There are paid sunbeds on the beach, but it was enough to order a drink and you could lie all day. The beach is clean, the sea was always calm and if we didn't go to the tavern we could walk to the shop next to the beach to buy fruit and some drinks.
We visited the Jeep Safari tour, after which there were unforgettable impressions. Since we climbed to the highest point of the mountain 1206 meters above sea level.
The tour is great for all ages.

Before that, we had not rested in a 3 * hotel, but this year there were a lot of waste, and we were so tired during the year with our baby that we went with joy. And they didn’t regret it, the vacation was a success, like in the good old days, when my parents still had one; ) The sea was only far away, but while you were walking, it wasn’t boring, everything was green and the birds were singing, beauty, warmth. There is also somewhere to go to the village of Skala Potamyas. But, we love to walk, it was not a burden for us. So we are sitting at home with the child, you can’t take a walk for such distances on foot. The hotel is not very big, but quite comfortable. And, most importantly, surrounded by an olive grove. From the window of the room, the view of the sea and mountains is very beautiful. The air is very clean, especially since we live in the city center. The hotel looks simple. Comfortable rooms, as for a 3-star hotel: air conditioning, TV, telephone, refrigerator, shower, hair dryer - a standard set. In the morning, even before breakfast, we had time to drink coffee on the balcony. We are used to getting up early. And those who lived on the first floor had their own terrace near the room. Clean, the atmosphere is homely, there are few people, we got to know many people in a week.
We swam in the pool, the normal size, but still the sea is super. Bar by the pool. The water in the sea is a fairy tale! I want to go there again!! ! I liked the beach because there was sand, not pebbles. I calmly entered the water. The downside for me personally is the paid Internet. I hope it will be free next year, without an Internet now it’s like without hands! Yes, we only had breakfast. Of course, there are shops with food, no one went hungry))) And our goal was to walk a lot and lose weight. We were the only one on the tour, because we dreamed of just sleeping and "warming our belly in the sand. " The tour is called Exotic Beaches, by jeeps. We saw Ghiola, this is a natural lagoon, a marble beach, its surface is completely covered with marble chips, instead of the usual sand or pebbles, etc. )) Interesting. We want to go back to Greece next year. There are so many things there! Let's take my sister. All for now.
