Greek flavor of Skiathos
Our vacation in Greece was wonderful, active and interesting. I liked everything very much. We have visited many excursions together with Mouzenidis travel company. The color of Greece was felt very brightly on the island of Skiathos. The tour itself is one-day, but very eventful.
We travel by boat, accompanied by dolphins. A Greek evening was held on the boat, on which we danced, danced round dances, danced sirtaki, we were treated to metaksoy, it was a lot of fun and the time on the road passed unnoticed! Then we had two stops, in the capital of the island of Skiathos of the same name, where we first had a delicious meal in the El Greko tavern. Lunch was included in the cost of the tour. We were offered a choice of either fish in batter with salad and a side dish, or squid, also in batter with salad and a side dish, we chose, of course, squid, which tasted amazing! Then we had free time, the guide told us about the sights, where to go, where everything is located. We walked around the city, saw the Burdzy fortress, went up to the church of St. Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors, from the observation deck of the temple, stunning views of the whole city open up.
After we wandered through the narrow streets and already went down to the embankment, climbed onto the boat and our next stop was Koukounaries beach, the best beach in Greece, which, in fact, we were convinced of. On the beach, golden sand, an amazing phenomenon! The beach has sun loungers, umbrellas, a beach bar, changing rooms, toilets, showers, water sports, ducks and swans also live there. Awesome place! The beach itself was awarded the blue flag of the European Union and for good reason! Sharing with you photos from our wonderful trip!
