My wife and my friends, another married couple, decided to take a vacation in Greece this year. We decided that it is better to entrust the choice of the tour to professionals who know their business. Since we work in the public sector, the financial possibilities were quite modest. At the office, we were advised to purchase a ticket to the Sithonia Village hotel, immediately warning that the hotel was family-type, very calm and without a pool. We actually weren't interested in the pool, but thanks to the manager for being quite objective about the hotel. It is not often in our time that you can meet people who tell the whole truth about their product. Upon arrival in Thessaloniki, we were very friendly met by the company's employees right at the airport, and we quickly got on the bus. The road to the hotel took a little over an hour (other tourists were brought to hotels, otherwise it would be much faster), while we were not at all bored, such beauties were torn off in front of us by the Greek landscape. It should be noted that our arrival was quite early. We got to the hotel around 9:00 local time. We were met by two employees of the company, Elena and Larisa, who, it should be noted, during the entire time of our stay, always helped in solving our sometimes comical problems.
Actually, the room itself, which we got was quite modest, no frills, but we understood that we were not eating in a 5 or 4 star hotel. At a meeting with the company's employees, we were told quite informatively about our living conditions at the hotel, the peculiarities of Greek life and, of course, about excursion programs. Frankly, at first we were not going on any excursions, it was a dream to just lie in the sun and swim. However, after two days of our beach holiday, the weather in Greece deteriorated somewhat. It started to rain. Of course, at first we were very upset. And that's when we remembered the excursions. The very next day, in the morning, we approached Elena and asked her to tell us in more detail about the excursion directions and possible options.
And yet, if you are afraid to stay hungry, because. meals only breakfast and dinner, don't worry, in the town (3 minutes from the hotel) there are very economical and delicious taverns. We got dinner for four for 15 euros. We took complex lunches, which include soup, salad, a second course and a drink, as well as a dessert (a gift from the chef), taking into account the size of the portion, they cost two at 7.50 euros each. Be sure to try the fish mix at Pavel's tavern (to the right of the hotel) and the moussaka at La scala tavern (to the left of the hotel)!! ! Amazingly tasty and very nicely priced, a bit more expensive than set meals, but it's worth it.

I told what I felt myself. Overall, my wife and I, as well as our friends, enjoyed our Greek holidays.
