We rested with my daughter (8 years old) this year on the Halkidiki peninsula, at the Assa Maris hotel.
The hotel is more for families. Lots of kids of all ages. For them there is a small playground and an animation team that entertains the little guests every day and not only. For adults, water aerobics, volleyball, various tournaments, an evening program like "guess the melody", karaoke are held. Every Wednesday dancers and musicians come and have a Greek evening. This is about entertainment. If you need clubs, bars, then this hotel is not for you.
As for the hotel itself, the main advantage is the cleanest sea with a gentle entrance and a wide coastal strip. The territory of the hotel is beautiful and well-groomed, lots of flowers, neatly trimmed lawns.
The number of rooms is not new, the hotel could use renovation. And so here it is very colorful, just like in a Greek village. After a noisy metropolis, this is what you need to relax and unwind alone with nature.

The food is traditional Greek. Everything is very tasty and varied, that's what Greece is for, to feel and feel the spirit of this wonderful country. Vegetables and fruits in sufficient quantities. The waiters are great, they do a great job.
Of the staff, girls from the reception, bartenders, waitresses speak Russian. Very friendly and accommodating all the staff. I would especially like to highlight the gardener, the person who turns the territory into a real fairy tale of flowers. A nice girl representative of the tour operator Aliya, who daily found out how we were doing, answered questions and advised excursions. From excursions we visited Meteora, a real miracle of nature. I strongly advise everyone to visit, despite the long journey (4-5 hours), there are so many emotions that you don’t feel tired at all.
We were fully satisfied with the rest, the hotel also did not disappoint, leaving the most pleasant memories, I advise.
