We chose for a long time where to go on vacation with my wife, and after much deliberation, we finally chose Greece, a beautiful country, according to the stories of my sister, who was vacationing there last year. Arrived at the airport of Thessaloniki. The road from the airport to the hotel was quite long (about 1.5 hours), but quite pleasant, because the bus was comfortable and there was wi-fi, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. At the reception we were greeted warmly and cordially, the Greeks are very friendly and benevolent people. The room was amazing: a chic double bed, opposite a huge plasma that shows Russian channels, the whole room was in gray-violet tones. We had half board, breakfasts and dinners are just excellent, I especially recommend fried salmon with fried vegetables, it just melts in your mouth. In principle, all the food - just lick your fingers. Thanks to the chef! Apparently, the man sincerely loves his job. You can also grab a bite to eat at the poolside restaurant, they have delicious pizza and fresh salads. The beach is in close proximity to the hotel, only 10 meters to the sandy beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas. Be prepared for the fact that there are a lot of Greeks on the beach who come here by car and relax all day. Of course, this was observed more on weekends. There are no hotels nearby, only villas around, small in appearance, but nice. In principle, there is access to nightlife, because the hotel is located in close proximity to 2 rather large villages, in which there are shops where you can buy all sorts of little things, including souvenirs, taverns, cafes and restaurants, where simply beautiful intimate atmosphere of warmth and comfort. We went on several excursions: to the city of Thessaloniki with a stop at the large Cosmos shopping center. In general, we liked it, we bought things for ourselves, we just got into the sales season. Thessaloniki, of course, is an incredible city, there are places to go and things to see. Most of all, we liked Aristotle's Square there: it offers a breathtaking view of the sea. Well, what else to say, we will definitely come here next year, because we did not have time to see everything.
