We went with a partner in September for a week in Thessaloniki, lived in the Grand Hotel. The impressions were good. Modern European hotel in my opinion.
1. The room is comfortable. As you enter - a closet, it also has a small safe, with a digital key. There are enough hangers in the closet, we had several suits, everything fit.
The light in the room can be turned on in different ways, and turned off all at the same time with one switch. We love this kind of system. There are bathrobes, slippers in the closet, shower gel and some kind of cream in the bathroom, I don’t understand creams.
2. Internet. We used wi-fi, the password is given at the reception at the entrance, the speed is good, suitable for work purposes, we do not complain. By the way, we were given two electronic keys for the room for two, conveniently, we appreciated it.

3. Breakfast. Good, there is plenty to choose from, so it was possible to have a hearty meal in the morning. The waiters come to the tables, pour coffee or tea. What do you ask. I rarely drink coffee, tea is good. There is cream on every table. I liked this service. We always had dinner in taverns, so I can’t say anything about dinners at the hotel.
4. Location. The hotel is located near the waterfront, there seem to be some kind of buses, but we used a taxi, from Ignatia (this is the main street in Thessaloniki) a taxi to Grand costs 4-5 euros.
5. Sports hall. We welcome physical activity, so we do a lot. The gym in the hotel is good, though its working hours are strange. I don’t remember now, but on some days it works from 9 a. m. to 3 p. m. , on others it’s vice versa - from 2 p. m. to 9 p. m. , on some - a full day from 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. not understood.
To summarize, we can say that in general the hotel is good, great for business trips. Soon we will go again for negotiations, I think. Let's stop at the Grand again.
