Just arrived from there.
Everything is good in some places.
Sea.
Excellent sea. apparently - this is the result of the direction of the wind and currents.
We snorkeled and rented a car - we went to other beaches.
On the Aegean coast - muddy water storm and stones.
the hotel has an excellent entrance, always warm and clear water.
The best beach was seen only on tsambik.
There the sand, the water is even cleaner and even warmer.
But there are no hotels there.
The "stone slab at the entrance" mentioned in the reviews really exists and it's good that it exists!
She looks like a "pseudo coral"
Of course - a funny likeness of the Egyptian but still.....
Take masks - there are a lot of fish around this "pseudo-coral" - we fed them.
We saw a flounder, a fish - a flute, a bunch of horse mackerel, gobies, there is even a frail likeness of a parrot fish (I don’t know what its Mediterranean counterpart is called)....and a lot of other things....
They fed them bread. . .

When you snorkel, you can see how much garbage is blown off the coast by the wind. But the water is still like a tear. Apparently the current.
Neighboring hotels have worse entrance to the sea.
Food.
The food is so-so.
In principle, it's okay - but only if you are used to fast food and not very demanding. Then great.
And so..... soup porridge, etc. NO AT ALL.
Not for lunch or dinner. And nowhere near. Not for any money.
On the whole island, as I understand it. They just don't eat it.
That is - if you are on a diet, then food can be a DISASTER for you.
There are not so many vegetables - cucumbers with tomatoes and everything + spicy pickled vegetables, boiled vegetables.
Meat and fish are plentiful for lunch and dinner, but if you don't eat them...... that's it. Sailed.
The same on the island. Around French fries burgers, pizza, etc.
In restaurants - meat fish national dishes.
But you won't get soup and porridge. No way. Never. You won't get dietary vegetables either.
Except for cucumbers with tomatoes and Greek salad.
If that suits you, then fine. For people WITHOUT SPECIAL requirements for food - everything is fine.
And if not, you are at risk. And very. There are also no porridge or soups in the stores.
Service.
Good even great.
Cleaned every day (although we left the Euro).
All are benevolent. You can go for breakfast and lunch several times.
The hotel deserves its 4 stars.
But after all, everything is for money and not very small.
If you compare with Turkey and Egypt, then of course, the price-quality ratio is not very good.
It turns out much more expensive..... but I would not say much better.
It's actually the end of August. . .
In addition, the style of rest is different.
We drove from 10 to 18 around the island. And in Turkey and Egypt - apparently, this would not have happened. We would sit in the hotel.
But it would be 40 percent cheaper, I think.
We spent all 1500 euros that we took with us for customs. (50 euros per day per person for a total of 3 people)
Just looked at the island - I liked everything. Here the people did not like Lindos.....
This is apparently a matter of taste. Were in Lindos, and Kamiros and Ialyssos.

Excitingly enjoyable.
We went to Rhodes by bus (there is no parking there).
It turned out - by our standards, this distance (hotel-Rhodes) would simply be called "a ten-minute drive. "
There's like 5 stops. . Stops like we have in cities. The bus is a comfortable Mercedes.
The Greeks are very similar to us. Rather, we are on them. After all, they were 5 thousand years before us.
In the monasteries, grandmothers in the same scarfs....almost Pavlovsky Posad.
Very similar and life and relationships. It's nice to walk around Orthodox monasteries.
Although - they are not like ours. Visible difference.
You can take pictures of walking without headscarves, sitting, etc.
We don't take it that way.
Entertainment.
Animation is so-so. . .
Italian DJ with a team with the same songs - jokes.
Mostly designed for children, which is apparently correct.
But - I would not call youth entertainment.
I think behind this - in Faliraki.
Although we did not go there - in the morning and in the evening the sea is the best... From evening to morning, only 7 hours..... there is no time.
In the afternoon we drove around the island.
I advise you to watch the sunrise from behind the Turkish coast at 7 in the morning - first the red trapezoid then just shoots out the light........ impressive - Helios throws light right from the mountain.
