It was the first time in Greece. We rested with our family, a child of 4.5 years old.
In principle, what I wanted to get for 7 days of vacation was)
Beach holidays without tension, if possible in the state of a vegetable (esseno without alcohol, you won’t relax with a 4-year-old child).
Let's start with the pros:
- A lot of space on the beach, even the abundance of Russian-speaking people did not bother (a clear feeling that you were not in Rhodes but in Sochi).
-Pleasant and helpful staff (with 40% of them clearly coming from the CIS countries). And the Greeks are a completely different story - for a week I have not seen a single one with a dissatisfied mine, both in the hotel and beyond. Attitude towards tourists, as guests who allow you to earn your daily bread. In general, a client-oriented nation.
-Lower-level air conditioning system_definitely a plus;
-Food: a lot, tasty and endless (my kid has pancreatic problems, and for us the choice was generally not bad);
-Spacious room, by the way, everyone wrote about terrible rooms overlooking the wasteland and with the bonus buzz of the general air conditioning system, we got one of these. We arrived at 12 midnight, tried to change, but we were told that we could only after 10 am. In the morning, we woke up, looked around and listened, and decided that it was not so scary. If the balcony door is closed, then no noise is heard, and the ferris wheel from the Lunopark and the sea are still visible. In general, they did not change;
About not so good:
-I thought it was a + or b - write it down, it was just positive for me, but my husband suffered: WiFi is expensive and of poor quality) for those who have a chance of breaking, a hint, there is a good channel in a cafe around the corner;
-Children's corner: everything is sad . . toys have not been updated for 3 years, probably, the conder is blowing from above. We went in about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, in the middle there was a group of 3 people, I thought it was mothers, and started wandering around looking for someone to turn to. I didn’t find anyone in the end, I decided to go to the “mothers”, it turned out that it turned out to be educators (or whatever they are called there). I was immediately asked how old the child was and warned that I could leave him without my presence only after 5 years. I didn’t plan it in principle, but for the sake of interest I asked why it was written in their advertisement that from 4 years old. They looked at me strangely and began to have a lively conversation among themselves . . well, it’s something like that . . probably one of the most negative things.
-Sunbeds on the beach are paid (3 euro-piece), on the territory adjacent to the hotel are free. Those that are next to the pool are tagged with slippers, panama hats, books, towels (someone doesn’t mind) for the fact that they are busy, in the morning or in the evening. We usually spent time on the beach, we didn’t really worry.
- The hotel does not provide beach towels (hint, we take it with us) They are on sale in the store in the hotel itself and outside it, the cost starts from 7 euros (the quality is so-so)
- Check-out time from the room is 12.00 noon, this is for those unfortunates who have evening flights or late evening flights (we had at 22.45).
Those from the room you have been evicted, but you can stay at the hotel. We spent half a day around the pool, in the heat with a child, even under an umbrella is hard. Tip: you need to worry about extending the room (with a surcharge, of course) 3-4 days before departure.
Weather: on Rhodes, the wind is of varying intensity, but it is always there.
