We spent the May holidays at the hotel. Loved the hotel and would love to return. Before the trip, read the reviews on various sites. We join the positive assessments: a wonderful option for a family holiday.
In addition to standard rooms, the hotel has suites with a private pool. Tourists staying in suites eat at a separate restaurant.
The territory of the hotel is green and well-groomed, there are many ornamental shrubs and flowering plants. In the main restaurant, the wall facing the sea is completely glass, offering a beautiful view.
The food is good. I agree that the breakfast menu is repeated, but the choice of dishes is large, so you can choose a new option every day. Dinners are varied, food is fresh, deliciously cooked, 4-5 types of meat, 3-4 fish and seafood, various side dishes, a lot of vegetables and fruits, delicious pastries. I liked Greek yogurt, it was often offered with pieces of fruit. I really liked Greek cuisine.

By the way, not far from the hotel there is a large supermarket with quite reasonable prices, tourists and locals often visit it.
Our room was spacious and clean, daily cleaning, but the bed linen was not changed every day, sometimes it was just neatly tucked in. Cosmetics were updated regularly.
We really liked the service at the hotel, the staff is polite, we have never encountered a situation where our request would not be fulfilled. Reading the negative reviews, I thought that perhaps the language barrier could have played a role (in my opinion, the staff does not speak Russian), or the tourists themselves were not polite enough when solving their problem and provoked a conflict.
The hotel has a beautiful beach area, sun beds are on the grass under straw umbrellas. At the time when we were relaxing, there were no problems with places on the beach, you could always find free ones. In the morning, however, the mattresses were sometimes wet (for some reason, the staff washes them along with the sunbeds). A constant breeze blows in Ixia, be careful with sunbathing - it is easy to get burned, because all the time you will feel a pleasant coolness.
There are many places to visit in Rhodes. The island is really interesting. We visited the island of Symi, Lindos, Rhodes, traveled around the island itself.
People go to Symi to visit the temple of the Architrategos Michael and see the town itself, the colorful houses of which strive up the mountainside, and also to taste the famous Sim shrimp.
Lindos is known for the fact that it was in this city that the holy Apostle Paul moored ashore when he preached in the countries of the Mediterranean. There are many cozy quiet bays where the sea is shallow and the water is always warm. On the mountain is the Acropolis, to the foot of which you can drive up on a donkey (for 5 euros). The views of Lindos are very picturesque.

You need to go to the city of Rhodes several times, for 1 time you can’t get around and see everything. There are many ancient monuments of architecture, the Old Town and the Palace of the Grand Master in it, the Archaeological Museum, an aquarium, Rodini Park...
Public transport works well in Rhodes, there are many taxis (from Ixia to Rhodes a bus ticket costs 2.2 euros, a taxi ride is 10 euros) and you can rent a car, so there are no problems with moving around the island.
Excursions, as elsewhere, can be ordered from a guide at a hotel or bought in any locality at a tour agency (this, of course, is much cheaper, sometimes 2 times cheaper). You can also drive on your own.
We had booked excursions from the company "Millennium Travel", but, unfortunately, we were very unlucky with the guide. INNA PAKHOMOVA, in principle, does not understand what her job as a guide is, but she feels great in the field of trade. Sales is, indeed, her talent, she devotes most of her time to this on excursions (a leather goods store, sponges, even a church shop at the temple). At the same time, she constantly talks about something, without giving any really valuable information about Rhodes itself and its sights. She did not respond to our polite remarks about this. We contacted the company through a guide at the hotel, they refunded us the money for the next 2 ordered excursions and apologized to us. For other tourists (in other hotels and from the Pegasus company), the return of money caused difficulties and they received not the entire amount, but only a part. Therefore, I do not recommend INNA PAKHOMOVA as a guide, it's just a waste of your money (the cost of these excursions is 45.50 and 65 euros per person).
This was the only problem during our entire holiday. We really liked the country and the people, we will be happy to return to Greece again.
