This is not the first time we have a rest in Greece, and since we prefer not to sit within the walls of the hotel, but to go on excursions, as a rule, we always choose economical options, without making special demands on comfort. This time, the Oasis turned out to be more than affordable, but I must say, the low price did not affect the quality in any way.
The first thing that pleasantly surprises upon arrival at the hotel is the abundance of greenery. This is very striking, since the last kilometers of the road from the airport to the hotel make you think that greenery is in short supply in this region) And when the bus parks on the highway and they say to you, “Oasis hotel, we have arrived”, the first thought is “here you are. ” ! But, entering the oasis, you find yourself in a real southern garden: banana and date palms, grapes, eucalyptus, ficus, orange, lemon, apricot trees! White two-story houses in the traditional Greek style are buried in lush greenery. The reception and the restaurant are located in a separate building. Everything is decorated with rustic comfort: wood, stone, painted ceramic plates on the walls)
Settled immediately, in May the hotel was still empty. The room is very simple: whitewashed walls, blue painted beds, bedside tables of the same color, a wardrobe, a table with a mirror, a stool with floral upholstery. The floor is tile, you can't walk barefoot. The room was on the first floor overlooking the pool. And it seems that during the rest we used the balcony door more than the front door. Instead of a balcony - a small terrace with a plastic table and 2 chairs. Bushes and trees are a little fenced off from the pool, creating some kind of privacy. Near the pool almost every day the Germans dried up, the rest of the few guests apparently preferred to take a walk to the beach. The beach is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. First you need to cross the road (like a highway, but there are not too many cars, and there is a pedestrian crossing), then go along the asphalt road with a slight slope towards the sea, then cut through the hotel. The beach is long, several kilometers, absolutely deserted. The sand is mixed with pebbles, when entering the sea in small pebbles, the legs get stuck a little. Depth gains quickly. Opposite the hotels, local entrepreneurs equip the beaches, keep them clean, put up sun loungers and umbrellas and patiently wait for tourists to take 3.5 euros from them for their noble work. However, sometimes you don’t want to pay for the right to lie on a sun lounger, then you can safely spread a towel and sunbathe on it. By the way, beach towels in the Oasis are issued for a deposit of 10 euros, you can not bring your own.

Do not complain about food. For 3 *, they feed quite well, breakfasts, however, are always the same, but there is plenty to choose from: muesli, eggs, vegetable and cheese-sausage cuts, Greek yogurt, cookies, croissants. We didn’t have lunches on half board, but the dinners were wonderful, a kind of rustic cuisine, homemade, hearty and it seems very healthy)) The only negative in the diet is that I want more fruit. But, from my own experience and from communication with experienced travelers, I concluded that this situation is quite common for treshkas. A 5-minute walk from the hotel there is a large grocery supermarket where the Greeks themselves are bought, and there we bought fruit for the week ahead for 10 euros. On average, the price per kg of standard fruits (bananas, apples, oranges, pears) varies from 0.80 to 3 euros, there were no peaches yet, cherries just appeared and were more expensive (about 5 euros / kg) You can also buy juices there, sweets and other edible little things that can be kept in the room in the refrigerator.
I hope that I managed to highlight the main points and maybe help someone make a choice. Oasis is a smart choice.
