Minus: remoteness from the beach - go far and some "chagarniks", went two or three times (we lived in a hotel for 3 days), and it's really hard to remember the way.
But the main disadvantage: they stole money from my bag. It's my own fault for leaving my bag. But the money was stolen in 30 minutes, from 20.42 to 21.19. There are no cameras around. Prior to that, the room was cleaned (somewhere after dinner) and the same bag with money was in the room. Apparently, then they saved my bag. At the reception I was told that all cleaning ladies hand over the keys to the reception. When I asked at the reception to show the recording from the video cameras, that it was during the period of time indicated by me that no one took and handed over the keys, the manager's hands began to shake and he refused me. The police also made no attempt to resolve the issue - it was pointless to call her.
Therefore, I strongly do not recommend this hotel, they steal from it and the administration covers it (at least for me, as the injured party, the administration did not help in any way and did not try to clear the name of their hotel). For myself, I concluded: the hotel employees stole the money. I do not remove the blame for my negligence, but I advise everyone else not to leave valuables in the hotel, THEY STEAL IN IT !!! !
We rested as a family of 2 adults and 3 children (13.10 and 1.5 years old). The choice of rooms for such a large number of people is small. We got room 655. The room is good. Located on the 1st floor (for us it was important because of the stroller). Nice view from the window. Nearby playground. Everything in the room is clean and in order. The air conditioner worked, the refrigerator and the hair dryer too. Another family from Russia stopped by with us, there was a language barrier and they got a room in the main building (it is, as it were, on the 1st floor and, as it were, in the basement). Chat, smile, make yourself comfortable and you will get a good number))
About mosquitoes. After reading the reviews of tourists, I took with me a lot of mosquito repellents and in vain. It's not all that scary, really. For all the time we saw a few, but this is not fatal) If necessary, all the funds can be bought in a supermarket near the hotel and there is no point in being scared and taking half a suitcase of different mosquito repellents)))
About the Internet. In the first days he worked well and quickly, then he began to slow down and began to catch only at the reception. Personally, this has not become a problem for me, although I spend a lot of time online in my daily life.
There were no problems with food either. Everything is quite tasty and the choice is quite good. Of course, not 5 stars, but you can eat and overeat))) There are meat, vegetables, fruits and sweets. At breakfast, the choice is really not great and monotonous: they give mainly sausages, scrambled eggs, eggs and cheese. But we had enough. There is a children's menu. But my baby boldly ate soups, and fish and meat from the common table. To be honest, we were full and even arrived gaining weight. That's it)) I really liked the beer. For the record, beer is good everywhere, except for what is sold in Russia. You can also drink coffee. When I read the previous reviews, I was very upset that the coffee was bad, because I really like coffee, and good coffee. By no means do I want to say that the coffee is cool, no, but you can drink it.
The territory is beautiful, well-groomed.
The staff is friendly. Once the stroller was broken, they immediately came to the rescue. By the way, it's not true that they have problems with English. They even speak Russian a lot)))
I hope my review is helpful. Have a nice rest ))
The flight attendants were adequate, they responded normally to requests, they didn’t click, they didn’t curl their lips, they didn’t roll their eyes contemptuously.
There was no salt or sugar in the set, so tea and coffee were not sweet. In one of our sets there was no chocopie, we asked to change, but we were technically sent away, they said,
what happens, they do not report at the airport. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the airport, the backwoods between Ialyssos and Kremasti, dropped off the second. They sat down right away, they gave room 718 - just sweetie, a new, flat-screen TV,
refrigerator, large bathroom, new plumbing. The territory is huge and beautiful. Cleaning crews are constantly rustling. The staff does not understand Russian either at the reception or in the canteen-bars. The electronic key started on the 3rd day
they gave us the key to the lock (when you open it, you need to pull hard towards yourself to open the latch). There are a lot of mosquitoes, they took a fumigator, taiga plastics and inventory with them, the mosquitoes did not die, but they flew with plague and did not bite.
Then they just closed the window in the bathroom, they flew through the mosquito net. The rooms were cleaned normally, on the third day my wife decided to play in the revision room - she found dust only on the conder.
When we checked in, the remote control from the air conditioner was already in the room, we had a universal remote control with us, but it could not turn on the air conditioner in the room (Mitsubishi). Guide at the reception to ask about the paid remote control, it was already on our tour
included in the price, who gives a remote control and a key to open the bar on the air conditioner for a fee, the price is 6 euros per day. They could not find out about Wi-Fi on the day of check-in, three days before departure, a Russian girl who had just settled in
and chopped in English, she said that at the reception, new arrivals are given a password for Wi-Fi for 5 days for free.
Internet (enrage that they are always on the phone) 15 euros, but it turns out they can only call in Greece, went to reconnect, got into a siesta, hung out next to 17 hours. In the salon, they didn’t chop in Russian either, they explained on their fingers,
that for calls to Russia you need another sim card, I took 15 euros in a red box for 80 minutes, now I called.
Feeding is not good (most likely we got snickered), for breakfast 5 types of soy sausage, 2 types of processed cheese putty, soy bacon and sausages, muesli, eggs, jams, sandwich (! Not butter), always freshly baked bread and rolls.
For lunch and dinner there is always a tub of vegetarian soup, one kind of fish and meat, something meat is fried outside. Tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, peppers, onions always. Oranges, apples, peaches were never eaten, they always were, watermelons were given in the evening every other day.
This is the first Greek hotel in which disgusting coffee (moreover, only once a day for breakfast, in the evening you can take it in the lobby), and excellent coffee could forgive a lot. And the Greek salad, that is, feta, was given to him 2 times in 10 days,
2 times it was still crumbled once in a salad, once in! watermelon! .
The staff were very friendly and tried their best to help. The sea was a 5-minute walk, warm but with waves, the Mediterranean did not even warm up before departure, the pool warmed up by 10.06. in Rhodes 2 times, rented a car
Pegasus has 110 euros for 3 days with full insurance (there is cheaper, but they didn’t bother) we traveled along the eastern side and to the places we liked. There are not enough sun loungers by the pool, once in the morning they put a T-shirt and took a pareo, after
breakfast, the wife went and did not find them, after dinner the cleaning lady said that they were taken to the reception, the next days they put a sunbed right on the balcony (they lived on the first one) and stood there. To the left of the hotel in 5-7 minutes supermarket "May Market"
we took coloring books and pencils for the child, to the right in 20 minutes there is a cheaper supermarket and a fruit and vegetable shop near it, they took local cherries there first at 2.20 then from Macedonia at 4.40, melons at 0.80, watermelons are cheaper at the supermarket at 0, fifty.
In the evenings, we sat in the boqueria near the pharmacy (go right) Wi-Fi and wonderful cakes, coffee with cinnamon. When they saw the center of Ialyssos, they became sad, such a wilderness, but you need to drive from the intersection where the police and beneton go towards the sea, there is a real
anthill crowds of people cafe shops hotels. If you get to the pharmacy and turn towards the sea, you will come across a sandal sewing workshop along the way, the building is very shabby, the whole family sews sandals.
There are very few Russians in the hotel, no animation, bingo alternates with karaoke, only water aerobics music for pensioners was pleasing. I would go there again, I'm not sure, probably only if the price of a ticket for 3 people will be up to fifty kopecks in 10 days.
Animation in the hotel during the day is monotonous, and in the evening there are interesting events - they learned to dance sirtaki, for example. I liked it very much!
In general - the hotel is very pleasant, cozy - the staff is not intrusive and friendly.
We were satisfied with the rest, the hotel and Rhodes : )
So, the Filerimos hotel is located close to the airport and is located about 6-8 km (I forgot the exact figure) from the city of Rhodes. The hotel is presented by some travel agencies as 4 *, in fact it is 3 *, if not 2 *...
1. Number. They clean and change towels irregularly: with a break of 3 days, and sometimes daily (apparently, as the cleaner pleases). Towels were periodically found with a "penetrating gunshot wound", i. e. tear. The sewerage is rather weak, and therefore the water does not drain well, and the toilet bowl drain is one name... Air conditioning in the hotel FOR A PAYMENT!! ! 6 euros/day, works great and doesn't make too much noise. The refrigerator is small, it works only from the key fob (from the number key) inserted into the special. cell, when you leave the room with the key, all electricity is turned off, including the refrigerator. We disconnected the key fob from the key, and it was constantly in the cell, so the refrigerator froze around the clock, as we wanted. In the bathroom, towels hung directly over the toilet and strove to fall there all the time. There is no table in the bathroom, which personally gave me a lot of inconvenience.
2. The territory of the hotel. Big and green. Beautiful, I love it!! ! Beautiful view from the central pool. The pools are cleaned daily and thoroughly enough, but I don’t swim there at all, I think it’s unhygienic : )))
3. Nutrition. We had BB (breakfast + dinner). It makes no sense to take all inclusive when you are not going to lie like seals by the pool at the hotel. Breakfast is always the same: boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, beans in tomato sauce, tea, coffee, cookies, cheese, sausage, ham, buns. For dinner, a varied cuisine and often national cuisine is served. I won’t say that everything is delicious, but from the offered range of dishes, there is always something that seems tasty to anyone. Meat and fish are served daily. From fruits - watermelons and melons. I liked all the soups!
4. Beach. Walking distance from the hotel for about 8 minutes. Large pebbles, without coral slippers it is better not to meddle! The sea is always restless, the water is muddy and never transparent in this place, but the sea is clean and warm, in a word, wonderful. On the beach, you have to pay for sun loungers and umbrellas: 6 euros for 2 sun loungers and 1 umbrella, and 3 euros for 1 sun lounger and 1 umbrella. The beach is not to say that it is dirty, but I have never seen it cleaned. There are 2 showers. The toilet is the closest one on the neighboring beach (if you are facing the sea, you need to go to the left along the coast, not reaching the flags, turn into the gate - there is someone else's hotel, but you can use the toilet - there are several of them, in different buildings, one is in a round building).
5. Animation. For the entire stay 5 times looking for animators and could not find!!! ! We wanted to ask for table tennis rackets (there is a table, but no rackets!! ! Take your own! ). Those who saw the animators said that there was no animation at all and was designed for children.
6. The hotel staff is quite friendly, communicative, they will be happy to explain everything that you do not understand. Moving into the room, we found a bunch of flaws: the wire of the telephone set was cut, there were no towels in the room, in some places there were not enough screwed-in light bulbs, and a whole lot more. Having made a list of these flaws, we turned to the reception, where we were treated with understanding and respect and eliminated all the problems within an hour.
And finally, a couple of tips:
1. If you like tea, then be sure to take a kettle or a small teapot and mugs with you, because tea is served only for breakfast, and there is no kettle in the room! Tea leaves are also better to bring from Russia.
2. Buy the cheapest souvenirs and sponges in the markets near the old city, everything is much more expensive on the islands! Olive oil can be bought in duty free (prices are the same)
3. Be sure to bring shampoo, soap and shower gel with you. The hotel does not issue these funds!! ! (They gave out a small bar of soap 1 time and that's it! ). And to buy these funds in Greece is to overpay 2 times!
Thanks for reading such a long review! If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them and I can give you some advice on how and what you can save money on in Greece!
Sincerely, Asya
Farm level.
Natalie Tour takes all tourists to Fortuna 4 * there, several full buses a week. In June, a group of Russian tourists staged a strike over the terrible living conditions in this hotel, they even blocked the road with a "human shield", but even after that, nothing has changed in the hotel. On June 27 or 28, a tourist died of a heart attack in the pool. Probably could not stand the quality of services of such a hotel. The host side of Travel Exchange turns a blind eye to the endless indignation of tourists and continues to carry all the Russians there in batches along Fortuna. They have a very profitable business - to withdraw money from tourists on the ground for relocation to other hotels. So, for example, out of 60 Russians who arrived, 50 fled for additional fees for other hotels. Guide Milena and director of Travel Exchange Katerina are imperturbable, already accustomed to protests, there is only one answer: "It's your own fault for choosing this hotel, pay and move. "
The actual level of the hotel is 1-2 stars.
Apart rooms with electric stoves and sinks, dishes and furniture are preserved from the 50-60s, gray towels are washed and tattered. Extra / place for a child - a stone bed with a mattress.
The rooms here have never smelled of renovation since they were built.
There is swill in the dining room, not food, the dishes are dirty and greasy. Fruit plastic, model.
The All Inclusive power system does not correspond to this system, everything is at a minimum and ends instantly.
The sea is very far away, private pebble beach, entrance fee.
The hotel is good, but not for a beach holiday.
