We were warmly welcomed at the hotel. Clean and comfortable everywhere.
The room is basic, no frills. True hair dryer in the bathroom is very antediluvian, it is difficult to dry and style hair. The view from the room to the sea is very beautiful! Politeness and smiling at the level of the reception ended. We didn't seem to notice. No one else greeted us or smiled at us. At first, we, as polite people, greeted ourselves, and then it just got tired. Our greeting went unnoticed. It turned out that the hotel rest mostly Germans. True, there were Swiss, French, Dutch, Swedes, Poles. There were 3 Russians (except us). All evening performances were held in German with a modest insertion of phrases in English and Polish. However, it was sometimes fun as everyone understands sign language. All the evening activities were a bit boring. But there was something to be done! If you came to the evening animation, then be kind and buy drinks, or rather a few. Then the waiters begin to love and notice you. Without drinks there - you're an empty place. In a restaurant in the evening, it is also necessary to order drinks, it is better to drink alcohol and leave a tip for the waiters. But this does not make the attitude towards you better. And if you didn’t have time to get to dinner in the hall with air conditioning in the evening, you will sweat on the street.
Dinner was quite varied - a lot of different meats (there was only one fish and it was always tasteless cooked). But the breakfast left much to be desired. It hasn't changed in 14 days! The main dish in the morning was eggs. It just started to make me sick.
Bed linen was changed every day for the first 3 days. And then only after we leave 2 euros. And even then not always. The room was not cleaned well. But we tried not to litter ourselves. Fridge is tiny and barely cold.
The territory of the hotel is small, you can not clear up anywhere. There is a garden, but there is no way out for vacationers. During the day, water aerobics was held in the pool. But not for long - about 20 minutes. And then just silence.
The beach is not hotel, was far enough from the hotel. Approximately 10-12 minutes with a calm step, only there you need to go down a steep slope, and then climb it. True, there was a small bus for 10 seats - 3 times a day. We never got to him. Once they decided to ride it - but they didn't let us in. The men were shirtless. But we didn’t suffer from a long distance to the beach, but we even found benefit for ourselves in this - we constantly walked, moved. It's even great.
We were delighted with the beach. Clean, neat. Sun loungers are paid - 3.60 euros per day per sun lounger. But you can not take it - no one will kick you out of the beach. A place!!!!!!!!!! ! What a beautiful place!!!!! ! Cove from 3 sides surrounded by rocks with little vegetation. The bottom of the sea is not very interesting, but clean. Lots of big rocks. We got up on them or just rested there. Calm and quiet. The sea was the cleanest. True, by the end of the holiday, algae and any meager garbage began to be nailed to the beach, apparently from yachts or from other beaches. This holiday did not spoil.
Sand with pebbles on the shore, blue sky, clear sea! Just a blessing. After 300 meters there was another bay - Anthony Quinn Bay. There is also a great view. There were many young people in this place.
Even in these places it was possible to climb rocks - mountains and look at this splendor from above.
Without excursions it would be boring. I recommend going to Lindos - to see the Acropolis (cost 35 euros) and to Rhodes - to visit the old town (you can go on your own - a bus ticket - 2 euros). Very beautiful and romantic.
You can go to the water park - entry 20 euros. There, as elsewhere, a lot of fun, a lot of slides. The food there is inexpensive - mostly fast food. But delicious!
The climate in Greece is very comfortable. Sea is warm. The life of the Greeks is unhurried, without fuss. Well done.
Food prices are basically the same everywhere - 8 euros for a salad and pizza. Hot - an average of 12-15 euros. Drinks: beer - 3.7 euros, drinking water - in a restaurant a small bottle of 0.5 liters - 1.7 euros, in a store - 60 cents. 1.5 l bottles of water in the store - 6 pieces - 2 euros, 1 piece - 1 euro. With products in stores is not very good - there is no choice. But there are fruits - peaches, grapes, figs, pears, nectarines.
You won't die of hunger.
From the rest the impression was good (despite some nuances). You can relax and have fun there. Who needs what!
I just fell in love with Greece.
