Were in the hotel from 2.07. 2013 to 12.07. 2013. Ukrainian tour operator TPG, hosted in Greece by Millennium. Traveled as a family: 2 adults and a 12 year old.
We arrived quite late (around 21:00). The administrator suggested that we immediately go to dinner, while it was still not over. Of course, at such a time there was no longer a special choice of dishes in the restaurant, but you could have a normal snack.
We were seated immediately after dinner. A room in a building parallel to the main one, on the first floor. The windows face the sea, but since this is the first floor, we had a view of the garden. At first they thought that the first floor was bad, and even tried to change the room. The administration promised to do this, but it did not fulfill its promise. Then we even found advantages in such an arrangement: an additional exit through the balcony directly to the territory, no need to climb the stairs, the trees create additional shade, and the room is not hot. Towels and wet things were dried many times on the balcony. Despite open access, everything remained intact. Of the minuses - the noise from the disco at least until 23:00. But if you close the door tightly, it is almost inaudible.

The room has three beds: two are pushed together, one - separately. TV, several wardrobes and bedside tables, a table. Safe fee: €3 per day. In the minibar, only a bottle of water 1.5 liters upon check-in. All furniture is very old. The bathroom has cracked tiles and very messy plastered cracks between the tiles and the tub.
The room was cleaned every day. Cleaning consisted of mopping the floor, making the bed sheets and changing the towels. As at the beginning of the rest, a spider sat in the upper corner of the bathroom, so it remained until the end of the rest. The bed was changed once every two or three days. Bedding, however, as well as towels (including beach towels), is very old. Beach towels of different sizes, different quality, often with stains (sometimes had to be changed a second time immediately after the exchange). And with a tip of €1 and without it, the quality of cleaning is the same.
For breakfast, the food is monotonous: scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried sausage, sausages, several types of boiled sausage, 3-4 types of cheese, breakfast cereals, pancakes, preserves and jams, dried apricots, canned fruits. Figs appeared two days before departure. In general, products appeared in waves. For example, canned peaches were in the first four days, then disappeared for a few days, after which they reappeared.
Several restaurants are open for lunch, so there is always the opportunity to choose food to your liking. Depending on the restaurant, there is chicken, pork, sometimes beef, lamb, rice or pasta with seafood (although there is very little seafood), french fries, fresh vegetables, salads, cakes, pastries, watermelons, melons, peaches (often not quite ripe ), apples, ice cream.
For dinner, men are allowed only in long trousers; there are no clothing restrictions for women. At dinner, the choice of dishes almost corresponds to lunch. In addition, there is always some kind of specially prepared meat, which is distributed in just a few pieces.
Always during the day there are vending machines with soft drinks: water, cola, orange, lemon. There are no natural juices, everything is from concentrates.
From 11:00 there are bars where you can order alcohol.

Animators from Italy. They speak English quite well and Russian is very bad. This is strange, since more than 80% of vacationers are Russians. There is nothing to write about children's animation, since the child was not interested in it. I only saw that children were constantly invited to participate in competitions. Both adults and children participated in daily aqua aerobics, and there were quite a lot of people. The guys tried to involve more participants in adult animation, but this did not always work out. Firstly, the language barrier, and secondly, the schedule of events is not always convenient. For example, playing water polo at 16:00 is normal, but football is difficult, as it is very hot and there were few participants. When asked to change the schedule a little, it was said that only 5 animators were working, and therefore the schedule could not be changed. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that the animators tried very hard both during the day and in the evening during evenings and discos. Given that there are only 5 of them, the amount of work they do is quite large.
The beach is pebbly. The pebbles are so small that they resemble sand. The entrance to the sea is gentle. Approximately, up to 1.5 meters of pebbles, and then - large stones. The sunbeds are very old, sagging, uncomfortable. The beach is small. Considering that vacationers from Aldemar Village also come to it, there is very little space. However, you will always find a free sunbed in the 4th or 5th row from the sea and not under an umbrella. You can take a good place (close to the sea, under an umbrella, on a more or less decent sunbed) until 7:30.
The pool is large, clean with varying depth from 0.9 m to 2.2 m. There are places both under a canopy and in the open sun. Sunbeds are better than by the sea, but also a bit old. You can take a good place near the pool until 7:00.
There is one children's slide. It is long, but the descent is very gentle, slow, so even small children can go down.
As for travelling, we rented a car for three days. Near the hotel there are many offices that provide car rental. Cars of various classes. Prices are both higher and lower than in a hotel. In order to avoid unforeseen situations, we rented a car from a company whose representative is located directly at the hotel. Suzuki Aldo mechanic €90 for three days. Machine 2011 with a 1.1 liter engine and air conditioning. It is quite comfortable to move around together. Gasoline consumption turned out to be about 5 l / 100 km, the cost of gasoline is about € 1.8 per liter. I repeat that near the hotel they offered cars at a lower price, but there were always a lot of free cars in the parking lots, so I assume that there are some "pitfalls" or additional payments, but these are just my assumptions.

We went by car to the south of the island, where the Mediterranean and Aegean seas merge (I liked it very much !! ), to Lindos (I liked it, but it’s very hard to climb uphill in the heat), to the Seven Springs (nothing interesting, except for traveling through a dark tunnel with cold water ), Butterfly Valley (I didn’t like it: the butterflies are gray, there are not so many of them, as the guides inviting you on excursions say, and the trip did not leave any impressions), Felerimos (I liked it: in addition to Christian shrines, a huge number of peacocks. By the way, you can take with you fruit or buns: female peacocks are happy to eat directly from their hands).
In addition, the ship visited the island of Symi. The tour from the hotel cost €50 per person. We only bought a ride on the promenade in Rhodes - €19 per person, the child is free. The island is very beautiful, worth seeing. The Cathedral of the Archangel Michael is impressive, the capital of the island fascinates with its architecture and wonderful views. Of the minuses - a long journey: it took us about 2 hours one way. However, you can get there faster, only it will cost more. Please note that you should not buy washcloths on Symi: in Rhodes they will cost you less.
We have been to Rhodes several times. One way trip about 15 minutes by bus. Buses run regularly, during the day with an interval of 20 minutes, early in the morning and late in the evening - less frequently. The fare costs €2.2. Sometimes they took half the cost from the child, sometimes they didn’t take anything. The bus brings you directly to the waterfront. The city is beautiful, there is something to see. I also remember the fantastically delicious roasted corn, which is sold for €2 next to the columns on which the Colossus of Rhodes stood.
As for souvenirs, their prices vary greatly depending on the store. In one city, the difference in price for the same things can reach 100%. Therefore, you can buy in Kallithea, and in Rhodes, and in Lindos. It is only important to first compare prices, and then make purchases. For example, we bought most of the souvenirs in the store, which is a 10-minute walk from the hotel in the direction of Faliraki opposite the gas station. There was a good assortment, relatively low prices and a sociable Russian-speaking girl who gave detailed answers to all questions. However, now in almost every store there is a person who speaks Russian quite well. Yes, and in the hotel at the reception desk, almost always one of the staff speaks Russian.

Separately, it is worth writing about olive oil. The Greeks use oil with an acidity of 0.6 and higher, they are used to this. The same oil is sold in supermarkets. The price for it is lower than with an acidity of 0.3-0.2, but this oil tastes more bitter. As we were told, oil with low acidity is made specifically for tourists. It retains all the beneficial properties and has a rich taste without bitterness. The best oil is from Crete. In the stores we visited, the cost of Cretan oil with an acidity of 0.3 and below started from €4 per 0.5 liter in a can.
However, oil of any volume and acidity can be bought at DutyFree. The choice is quite large, the prices are slightly higher than in stores in Rhodes. But it’s better to take cognac on the island, since DutyFree only had bottles of 1 liter or more.
The return trip was spoiled by a long wait. According to the schedule, the plane was supposed to take off at 23:00, but took off three hours late. Moreover, we learned about the transfer of the flight when we had already handed over the number. And it was by accident. The bus did not arrive at the appointed time, and we began to find out the reasons for the delay. The corrected time was written on the company's stand in the hotel, and this entry appeared about half an hour before the original check-out time. At the same time, representatives of other tour operators informed their tourists about the postponement of the flight in the morning. If we had known about this, we could have extended our stay and had a quiet rest, but we sat on our suitcases for several hours. It turned out to be impossible to contact the Millennium representative: upon arrival, we were told that we could just go to the administrator and ask him to call the Millennium representative. All issues have been resolved with the hotel management, and the administrator will do it immediately. So, in a situation where we needed to urgently contact a Millennium representative, the administrator said that there was no agreement, and she would not call anyone.
It was, perhaps, one of the few negative points. The rest of the trip to Rhodes was very pleasant! I advise everyone! And to go to this or another hotel, you decide
