The transfer to the hotel took about 40 minutes. Settled in quickly. At the bar, lunch was left for all those who arrived in the form of a plate with stew, side dishes and vegetables. Russians drove into the hotel 10 people. The hotel rested Germans, Poles. The hotel is small, close to everything. The child himself ran to the playground, to the pool and bar. Near the hotel 4 *, animation for English-speaking children and Germans. There is no animation for Russians. Alfa Beach Hotel 4 * is large and noisy, there is sewerage nearby and the hotel smells. Hotel Alfa 3 * is located on Columbia Beach. This is a small village with many shops and cafes. The hotel is quieter and cleaner. No tynts-tynts and dynts-dynts. There are not many people. The food is good, lots of meat and vegetables. During the day, children and adults are served ice cream at the bar. At the bar you can pour water into your own bottle. Lunch outside. Dinner at the restaurant, soup menu in the evening. The bar makes cocktails, delicious Alpha Beach and Bahama Mama. There is hard alcohol. Tea and coffee can be taken from the bar and only plastic cups can be brought to the room. Room was 111 near reception. On the wall near the reception desk with information in Russian, bus schedules. The furniture in the room is new. double bed single bed, sofa, LCD TV, balcony with table and chairs. Plumbing is new. Bed linen and towels were changed every day. One of the women who cleaned the room spoke good Russian. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop from which you can go to Lindos, Rhodes and other places. Price 3.5 euros to Rhodes. We drove a rented car, took it to Alfa Beach on our own rights. The price is 50 euros for two days, three days is even cheaper. The tour operator's cars are more expensive. You can still take in other points, maybe even cheaper to find. There are many cars to choose from. We took the Hyundai Getz. We went to Lindos, to neighboring beaches, to the mountain with the Cross. From Rhodes to the Old Town by bus. Entrance to the acropolis in Lindos, in the Old City and in Filerimos is about 6 euros. For children, admission is free and travel on the bus is free. There are many temples nearby, seven springs, butterflies. In the temple, you can light candles, just leave money, you can write little notes in Latin. you can take oil. The church is very beautiful. Oriented according to the signs on the road. There are maps in free booklets, but they are not convenient to use. We had dinner at the Steak Grill tavern on Eucalyptus Street. We prepared everything in 20 minutes. Seafood mix (15 euros) and pasta with seafood (8 euros). Everything is delicious and the portions are big. There are a lot of souvenir shops. In each cafe you can use the toilet free of charge. Prices for souvenirs do not bite, the choice is large. For swimming, you can buy aquasax for 4.5-5 euros. Entrance to the sea on the beach of Kolymbia sand with pebbles. You can swim in the sea with a mask. I counted 6 types of fish. Fish swim near large stones 10-15 meters from the beach. On the coast there are two points with marine entertainment: catamarans, canoes, sailboats, parachutes, jet skis. The sunbeds are paid, but we never used them, we sunbathed around the pool, and swam in the sea. There is sand on the nearby Tzambika beach. There are changing rooms. I didn’t notice the toilet on the Columbia beach, there is one in Lindos. There are showers everywhere on the beaches. The sun is not very active, we did not burn out. Funds were practically not used. The island is constantly windy. Sky without clouds. In general, I liked Rhodes, I still want to go to the mainland in Greece. Maybe a review would be helpful. They took a large first aid kit for the child, but nothing was needed.
