Evening animation is unobtrusive, at 23.00 everything ended. But other hotels did not have this. The Greek girl Irina "does" with the children. We were with a child of 8 years old, he was bored. Well, at least later Russian children of his age arrived, and they entertained themselves. The sea is close 1-2 minutes walk. Of the 10 days, it was calm only for 3 days, and the rest were waves. About food: we took half board. the assortment is the same as in all-inclusiv, only the prices for drinks are exorbitant! tea or water 3 euros! So if you are going with children, then take all-inclusive! We really wanted to get to Santorini, but we were not lucky with the weather, no one got from Rethymnon. It's easier from Heraklion, where the ship can always leave the harbor. We went to Knossos on our own. I liked it, but it turns out not cheaper than taking excursions on the street, but there are more "hemorrhoids". The overall impression of the trip is good, the Greeks themselves were not entirely clear: the Russians are treated well, although they are not averse to fooling the tourist. You need to communicate with them from the beginning, talk, ask about his family, children, and only after that they will do everything for you as it should. Have a nice holiday everyone! If you go to Rethymnon and even with small children, then only in Theartemis!
