We rested in Europe for the first time, before that we rested in Egypt, Turkey, the Emirates. Therefore, it is difficult to understand some of the features of the hotel: this is a general phenomenon, or a shortcoming of the hotel.
I’ll start with the location: we immediately set up not to find fault much. At first, I didn’t really like the room and the view from the balcony. But they quickly got used to the room, but the mountain view leaves much to be desired. Firstly, the sounds from the road, and secondly, the view of the plants that I called reeds. But we didn’t sit on the balcony much. Therefore, we didn’t worry about the room.
There was no shampoo, body cream, caps in the shower. There was only liquid soap. So take your own.
Meals. Breakfasts are rather poor, lunches are a little better, dinners are good. We didn't leave hungry, but I didn't like the assortment of breakfasts at all.

It takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach. Almost all the time that we rested there were waves, but we liked it. Only once a green flag hung, but it was already boring for us to swim when it was calm. Of course, with small children it is better to go to places where there are bays .
It is better to buy souvenirs in Rethymno itself. They are cheaper there.
In general, I liked the rest, I liked the hotel.
