We have been on Crete 3 times already. We always come in large groups with friends and children. This time my husband and I decided to retire together and go to a small hotel. We chose Palladion. It is not far from the sea, and, according to reviews, it seemed to inspire confidence. We didn't regret coming here. The hotel itself does not have a beach, but beach bars and a bunch of sun loungers with umbrellas begin across the road. You pay 5 euros and at least you lie around all day. Yes, the hotel does not provide beach towels either. We bought in a supermarket in the village. In general, what is the main plus of the hotel is its location. And the sea is nearby, and entertainment is there. Lots of taverns, shops, restaurants, discos. For young people - expanse. We, too, are not yet old, so such a vacation could not but rejoice. The sea in this area is not the calmest, a few days are cool, but if you go with children, it’s better to rent a car and drive around the bays. There is a sea of ​ ​ them here, the beauty is extraordinary and the sand is good everywhere even on wild beaches. As for the food, I will say right away that everything is not very diverse, but tasty. For 3 stars is quite acceptable. For breakfast, I ate honey every day. He's very tasty here. Of course, not just honey, but with something, but I advise everyone to try it. Separately, I want to say about the staff. Everyone is very nice, kind and smiling. They try to help as quickly as possible if problems arise. In general, we are very satisfied.
