Excellent trifle!
We came to Corfu for the third time. Lived both the first time in another hotel, there is something to compare. I will not write about the island, those who wish can read about it anywhere. I will write about the hotel. He's great! The location is beyond praise. He is not just by the sea, he is in the sea. I don’t remember such a view in any country, but we travel a lot. Only in Greece there were 10 times. The main thing, gentlemen, do not be greedy, but immediately buy a room with a sea view, so that later you do not grumble and endure the guide's brain to be relocated. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The feeling that you are hovering over the bay and seeing the incredible beauty of the sea, and Mouse Island, yachts ...And these planes flying at arm's length - an incredible feeling! The hotel is very quiet which is nice. The beach is a platform, immediately deep to the chest, further deeper. For those who cannot swim, it will probably not be very convenient.
It only made us happy, because they don’t take kids there, who need a smooth entry. Because of this, the beach was quiet and calm, no squealing and screaming. There were enough sunbeds for everyone, the people were safely distributed in the shade (there is a shade, which is important) or in the sun, as it suits you. The cost of a sunbed is 1 euro per day, which is extremely humane compared to other places. Advice to all - READ carefully what owners, tourists write about hotels, get to know Greece as such. For the claims that "there is no place to walk, no sidewalks" are simply ridiculous. On the islands of Greece, they are almost nowhere to be found! They wrote about the sewer smell. This is all nonsense, apparently, those who wrote at school skipped chemistry. Otherwise, they would know that algae often smell of hydrogen sulfide when they decompose. Algae is on the wild beach nearby. But the smell was felt for one and a half for our 2 weeks of rest, when the wind rose changed. The food for the treshka is wonderful.

2 types of meat, one fish, a bunch of salads and just vegetables, great Italian spaghetti, different side dishes, always french fries or country style, rice and so on. Chef's casseroles are generally something delicious! They were given every day, sometimes with cheese, sometimes with spinach, with herbs, with meat. Puff pastry, tender, delicious! Had paella with mussels several times. Watermelons, melons, grapes. Great mousses for dessert. Breakfast is normal, what is called "English". In fact, it is always the same in all hotels: a bunch of different cereals, eggs in different types, 3 types of sausages, cheese, chic local home-made yogurt, croutons, beans in tomato, vegetables. Juices from the machine, and best of all - a coffee machine that brewed delicious coffee (latte, cappuccino, esperesso, etc. ) and hot chocolate. Tea, like everywhere else, comes from bags, but there is even green tea, which is not often the case in Europe, where no one drinks tea at all, except for us and the British. A couple of people wrote that the food was spoiled.
Believe it or not, these people are simply not familiar with Greek cuisine. The Greeks are lovers of all sorts of sauces with which they pour everything. Gravy wine, basil, orange, and from a bunch of other spices. They change the taste of meat or fish, give a certain aroma and flavor. The food was all fresh, it's just Greek: a minimum of fried, everything is stewed, almost always with vegetables and always with gravy. You need to know this in order not to write nonsense about the hotel's cuisine. The Internet was flying, which is also rare in hotels. The rooms are perfectly normal, standard. There is no old furniture, the furniture is in order. Plumbing is not new, but works flawlessly. Shower behind a curtain - keep in mind. But this is a three-ruble note, in them such an option is common. Cleaning is excellent, everything is on time and without problems. I will tell about the service separately. NEVER, NEVER in one hotel (and we lived from 5+ to 2 stars) NEVER all service issues were resolved so quickly!
Just respect and respect to the owners, who managed to organize everything in such a way. And a big thank you to them! All problems, such as a burnt out light bulb, were solved within 10 minutes. This is for Greece, where in 5 * hotels they can carry an ashtray to the room instead of a broken one for 2 days, where no one is in a hurry - generally a huge rarity! Animation is minimal. On Monday - Greek dances, on Wednesday - a disco. Music from the 50s to the 90s. Who loves to light up and loves to be entertained from morning to evening - you are clearly not here. The hotel, as I said, is quiet, family-run, many elderly people. The contingent of tourists is mixed, Germans, British (fortunately, there are no eternally drunk and noisy English youth at all), Italians, Greeks, Russians, Poles - a little bit of everyone. The staff does not speak Russian, but tries. In general, the employees are very friendly, efficient, helpful - just great! Those who do not know English can explain themselves through the guide.
Lena Fedotova - our guide Mouzenidis, a wonderful, sympathetic, wonderful person! She will always help. The sea is clean due to the fact that the stones, not sand. But it is better to buy bathing slippers so as not to knock down your feet or run into a sea urchin. They are few, but come across. Although many swam without slippers. Opposite the hotel there is a shop where there is everything you need: drinking water, fruits and vegetables, including wonderful Corfiot watermelons, sausage cheeses, wine, sweets, suntan products, shampoos, fumigators (there are mosquitoes on all the islands of green vegetation! ), olives, fins, masks, swimming circles, etc. There are a couple of restaurants within a 2-minute walk, everything is delicious and wonderful. You can walk to Mouse Island, there is a dam on Cape Kanoni and a magnificent view of landing planes, 30-40 minutes to the Si-si Palace, you can cross the dams, there are also a lot of interesting things, etc.

Who likes to go shopping - you need to go to the village, by bus for about 15 minutes. It's about the same way to the capital, everything is nearby, it's an island, moreover, a small one. Conclusion: lovers of Turkey with its troughs of mayonnaise salads and endless opa-opa from morning to evening, who are interested in clothes in shops, and not in the beauty of nature and the sea, who came to fill their womb from morning to evening - do not go here. A word of advice - be sure to go to Meteora. From other islands of the Ionian Sea, from Kefalonia, Zakynthos, Ithaca, etc. , they don’t take them there. And the tour is amazing, the beauty of nature, coupled with a miracle made by people.
