Майские праздники на Крите May holidays in Crete

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during the May holidays. The hotel is cozy and clean. They fed normally. I did not like the fact that there was no Russian-speaking person at the reception. Since this year the hotel has been operating on an all inclusive basis, but as one of the waiters of the beach restaurant told us, that half of the staff have no idea what is included in this system. Several times we were denied drinks, but then they apologized and brought an order (they still confuse "all inclusive for the French" - they have blue ribbons and, for example, they are allowed to drink only one beer at dinner, the rest for money). Not all bars worked, there was no evening program, we were bored. The weather was cool, we managed to lie on the beach for 2 days - the rest of the days it was cold, then we went on excursions. We went to Santorini, to Lake Kournas, to Chania, to the Palace of Knossos. For these purposes, we rented a car for 3 days Volkswagen Polo for 90 euros. In general, I liked the rest, but I think we will not go to Crete again.
