We rested with a group of girls on June 10-21. Yanina wrote a detailed review, to which I fully subscribe (we rested at the same time and crossed paths at the hotel). I will only separately emphasize the moments that especially strained me. I will make a reservation right away, this applies to those who are not going to rent a car (like us). First, it is remoteness from the sea. We knew about the notorious 500 m from the sea, but didn't know which road! This question is relevant, since there is a real problem to get to the beach, since the car, which fits 7 people without a driver, rarely goes there and is not convenient (10.11, 12.15, 13.30, 14.30, 16.17. 30). Accordingly, having breakfast at 8, you have to wait 2 hours to get to the beach! By the time of her first departure at 10 o'clock, a crowd of people who want to go, who, of course, do not all fit there, is recruited. Accordingly, you have to wait 2 or 3 races, and this is 10-20 minutes in the sun. People with small children stood and waited like that. True, once I saw that he began to take people a little earlier, but I don’t know how regularly this is. The same problem with the return from the beach. The last time he goes at 17.30, and if you are only at 16 (this is if you managed to get in from the first entry, but in real life at 16.15) you arrived at the beach after lunch, while you are settled - at 17.30, please go back. Just when the sea has warmed up especially, there is no direct sun and it's time to be on the beach. In addition, there is no reason to return to the hotel - dinner starts only at 19.00 (1.5 hours nowhere to go). Why am I writing in such detail and boringly about this ill-fated transfer to the beach? You can't get to it on foot without risk to your life. I mean it in all seriousness, because we almost got hit by cars twice!! ! She came to the beach in a pre-infarction condition. The fact is that from the hotel you first need to go down a winding road (not scary), and then go along the Cretan ring road, which is winding, cars fly around 120 turns, cutting off at the turn, of course, not expecting to see you, and you with all your might, you press against the bushes that grow along the mountain, and behind which you cannot be seen. It's really scary when at arm's length, and sometimes closer, cars, trucks and buses rush by at speed. So you have to walk 100 meters, probably turning gray with fear. To all our requests to let at least one transfer from the beach later, we received a persistent and adamant NO !!!! ! As a result, we almost got shot down a couple of times! This is the biggest disadvantage of this hotel, from my point of view. According to the hotel plan, they wanted to build a pedestrian road along the bottom of the gorge directly to the sea, but the owner was not given a loan and everything remained like this. It didn't make it any easier for us. I repeat, if you rent a car and are not tied to a transfer to the beach, then you can live.
Another downside is the food. For me it was ok, the girls were whining. But it ended quickly, and many dishes were not delivered. As a result, half an hour after the start of dinner, toko potatoes, spaghetti, etc. , could remain, while meat and chicken disappeared. From fruits, current apples and a couple of times bananas. But the main joke was the lack of tea and coffee at dinner (there was wine, water and cola, which was not always cola - once they brought me a VISCOUS HIGHLY SWEET WITHOUT BUBBLES rubbish, calling it cola), despite the fact that they gave sweet . And coffee or tea was offered to drink at the bar. That is, you (according to the hotel staff) bite a cake, go down from the restaurant from the second floor, go through the pool, go up to the bar on the other second floor and drink a piece of cake there. And so, walker 10, until you eat sweets. Maybe I don’t understand something, but eating cakes in dry food is somehow not a thrill. And it was not allowed to take them with you to the bar (the girls dragged the plate with them to the bar, cursing with the staff along the way). All our requests to make coffee or tea (boiling water and tea bags are right there in the restaurant) were denied to us ("all over the world they drink coffee in a bar"). Even if you crack. In the bar, FRESH SQUEEGED juice was made like this: oranges were squeezed in the morning, rubbish like Jupi was bred, all this was mixed as needed during the day. Juice is ready!
The cleaning of the rooms was also annoying, in the sense that when the dirty towels, which we specially threw on the floor for a shift, were carefully lifted and hung after cleaning..... the girls did not put toilet paper. And if they didn’t have time to track it down during the day, then they had to drag napkins from the restaurant (in the evening, probably, the pantry was out of reach) in order to ask the reception for a roll in the morning, which they were given at the RECEPTION.

Specifically, I was strained by the stench that came from a lamb farm nearby. Especially when you are sitting at dinner in a restaurant, trying to enjoy the food, and then, if the wind is in our direction, a persistent rich smell of shit hovers. Amateur, you know. . .
They never swam in the pool - they were disdainful. By the number of children floundering there and the quality of the cleaning of the hotel and, for sure, the pool... we made our conclusions and decided not to risk it. Yes, and not lovers of swimming in the pool, having arrived at the sea.
The only good thing about this hotel is that the rooms are large.
About the hotel, in fact, everything. Read more from Janina.
My advice: do not go to this hotel.
Have a good rest and make the right choice.
