For a long time I wanted to write, I myself read reviews about this hotel here. We traveled through an intermediary travel agency that ordered tours from Teztour. Before our departure, our nerves were disturbed by the news that was shown on TV, problems with visas to Greece on about. Crete. We waited for the documents until the last day and were also on our nerves. We flew with Aeroflot, which we did not regret. Then we bumped into a small airport for 1.5 hours. I was pleased with the organization of the teztour, we went out and the guides immediately met us, showed us where to go to the bus and we went and drove everyone to hotels along the way (1.5 hours). Very nice girl guide told the story of Fr. Crete. We arrived at about 12 o'clock and the first thing we encountered was a language barrier. The administrator did not understand Russian at all, she gave us questionnaires, which were also in English. But then she realized that we had a problem and she filled it out herself. She explained that they would check us in from 14.00, but for now we can go to the bar, which is on the beach, and we can also have lunch. I must say right away that the cuisine is normal, only the breakfast was monotonous (fried eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, fried bacon, delicious puff small buns with cottage cheese, with spinach and cottage cheese, sweet puffs, always a cupcake, vegetable salads, bread, butter, honey, milk, dry breakfast, juice, tea, coffee, scrambled eggs). Better to come early in the morning. we got up early, went to 7.30, and at 8.00 to the sea. Because it is very hot there 40 degrees, already at 11 o'clock it burns the skin. We took a family room, my daughter had a separate room, a view of the road, but we still didn’t hear noise from the road if the door to the loggia was closed. There are air conditioners, there are curtains in the bathroom, there are tiles on the floor, in the bathroom the water, like everything else, was wiped with a towel, they were cleaned almost every day, during the day we slept and on some days the maid did not have time to clean in the morning, and in the afternoon we were in the room (linen changed). There was a TV, we didn’t take the remote control, I took a rope with me to the loggia and pulled it on chairs to dry clothes (I read a review that there was no place to dry swimwear). At first, there were not enough sunbeds on the beach, and people, mostly Russians, got up, went to the beach, put their towels and left for breakfast, we ran into this on day 2. Then people began to complain, apparently, that there were not enough sunbeds, they put up brand new ones. But we also began to take places with towels, like everyone else. The minus of the family room is that the rooms are together at one end of the corridor and there were many families with small children who screamed and slammed the doors during the day and could be heard. I’ll tell you right away about the bars, there is a bar in the hotel that is open from 18.00-23 for free, they pour alcohol in it without sparing, and on the beach there is a bar where most people sit in the evening, I didn’t like that they dilute it. Well, we compared beer, you drink it, you drink it and you don’t get drunk, and then we went to Rethymnon for souvenirs, walked, went to the tavern and there they gave us not very strong beer, so we immediately got drunk after a couple of sips. We immediately compared good beer. What is the dress code for dinner. Nobody adheres to it, especially Russians. Men in shorts, and even in swimming trunks, one came in wet. Food is not allowed to be taken out, but we took apples and oranges with us and ate at the bar in the evening. The minus in the bar is that there is alcohol, but no snacks, we were ready to buy, but no nuts, no chips. Then everyone sniffed around 50 meters from the hotel, there is a store, we all went there in the evening to buy chips, nuts, ice cream and came to the bar. We liked the food, almost everything is baked with cheese, they do not spare cheese, tomatoes are everywhere, there was one joke. Apparently a dish from the chef - snails, well, we scored, but there were no special forks for snails, we tried to pull it out with a knife, fork, and threw everything away. There was not enough seafood, there was fish, but mussels, etc. 1 time. Desserts - 2 types of jelly, biscuit and national cakes with honey and cinnamon and nuts. Animations were on certain days: Greek dances (a hotel employee invites you to dance sertaki), live music. These animations are 2 times a week, otherwise there is nothing, but somehow we didn’t need to. We took an excursion from Teztour, and we ourselves went on one excursion to Rethymnon and bought tickets at the museum not expensively and looked like ourselves (we saved a lot). They didn’t take the car, they needed a license, if you didn’t take it, friends can send you copies and drive on copies. On the day of departure, you can order an early breakfast, we ordered for 5 o'clock in the morning, it was sandwiches, cake, tea, coffee. We had breakfast, no one even checked the number, the Teztura bus arrived and along the way we collected people at the airport (2 hours). We liked it, maybe because there is nothing to compare with yet, but if you are going to rest for several years with a child in silence, a normal vacation option. Maybe we will go there again with two children.
