The hotel is new, was built in 2010, apparently the first season works, so there are a lot of shortcomings and shortcomings. When checking out, we indicated everything that did not suit us, I hope the hotel staff will listen to our recommendations.
But the representative from our tour operator (we traveled with TEZ TOUR) simply ignored them, apparently for this girl it was the main thing: to get her percentage from the sale of sightseeing tours in Crete. And the interest was not frail: we bought a tour to Santorini for 100 euros cheaper from local guides. Incl. count from each ticket she has 50 euros in her pocket (this is even taking into account the 20% discount that they provided to the first tourists in May).
And now about the disadvantages of the hotel:

1. Check-in: for a room with a sea view, you will have to pay an extra 150 euros. Regardless of what you paid for when buying a tour: we bought a superior sea view room, the sea view turned out to be a pool view. But that's nothing: people who bought a room overlooking the garden could see the road and the dump from their window. The hotel itself is located end to the coast, so there are really two rooms with a sea view on each floor.
2. In the room: safe (free of charge), refrigerator (empty), TV (new, small Samsung plasma) - you need to pay a deposit of 30 euros for the remote control, which you can get at the reception.
The bathroom is combined, we were struck by the fact that there was no curtain in the bathroom, it was difficult to take a shower, all the water splashes around the bathroom and when you get out of the bathroom the floor is wet. This is not only unpleasant, but even dangerous: you can slip on wet tiles and hurt yourself.
In the bathroom, besides the towel rack, there was only one hanger, which served both for personal towels and for bathrobes at the same time.
Another unpleasant thing: there were no heated towel rails in the bathroom, so the towels did not dry out properly, and were damp, and they were not changed every day.
Wet towels and wet bathing suits had to be dried on the balcony: we hung them on the balcony railing and the backs of the chairs.
Another drawback: in the closet there are poor hangers made of metal wire, in a word: cheap. But in the closet there were bathrobes and slippers for vacationers.
The bed is large, but somehow angular, I bumped into it a couple of times when I tried to walk past it in the dark. Here you need either a wider mattress so that it protrudes a few centimeters beyond the sides of the bed, or just a different bed model. There was no blanket, instead there was a fluffy 100% polyester blanket. The bedspread was a large cream-colored waffle towel.
Another important omission that upset us: there were no bedside rugs in the room, and the floor was cold tiled everywhere. We arrived at the beginning of the season and the first few days were cool, so waking up in the morning to put your feet on the cold floor was not pleasant.

By the way, there were no carpets in the corridor either, so the footsteps on the tiles resounded throughout the entire corridor and they were heard very well in the room. This was especially disturbing in the evening, when you go to bed, and you cannot fall asleep until the last visitors stomp into your room.
In general, the soundproofing in the room (and throughout the hotel) was wonderful, in the morning we were awakened by the rumble of plates in the dining room. And once we even woke up at 4 in the morning from the fact that in the next room someone was fucking too "loudly".
3. Beach: super!! ! A very convenient entry into the sea, very gentle, it seemed that you had already moved far away, but the water was still up to your waist. The beach is sandy, the entry into the sea is rocky - well, it's literally 3-5 meters to go through small pebbles and large boulders, and then a flat sandy bottom. The water is clean, clear, small waves. The view is very beautiful: you can see the coastline as far as possible, and mountains are visible on the left in the morning, on top of which clouds are located at noon, and in the evening the mountains dissolve in fog and only barely noticeable faint outlines remain.
Umbrellas and deck chairs (free of charge) are new. A deposit for a towel is 15 euros, but what is bad and strange: a beach towel is not changed during your entire holiday even once, so you will have to dry and wash it if necessary. By the way, there are no paid laundry services at the hotel.
There are 3 swimming pools and 1 children's pool. We did not swim in them (because we came to the sea), so I have nothing to say about them. There is a bar on the beach, the drinks in the bar are disgusting, the ice cream is synthetic.
4. Meals (all inclusive): a very small dining room, there are not enough tables for everyone, the waiters do not have time to clean them.
Salads - there were practically none, except for Greek and cabbage, everything else in the salad bar was just chopped vegetables and several types of dressing sauces.
The meat is constantly salted or peppered, only once they served normal meat, while it was served on a separate table. We understood it this way: finally, the chef managed to cook something tolerably meaty.

The fish is tasty, soft, the same. Once in all 2 weeks there were mussels. There was nothing else from seafood: no shrimp, no squid - NOTHING! This is strange, because there is much more seafood in Crete than meat. To get lobsters for dinner, you had to book in advance and pay for them.
Desserts were not enough: if you come closer to the end of dinner, then you may no longer get cakes, and they don’t spread new ones.
Of the fruits, there were only apples and oranges, well, a couple of times there were Cretan plums and EVERYTHING !!!
We bought our own fruits and berries: melon, watermelon, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, bananas. Imagine, even bananas were not given in the hotel!! ! By the way, fruits could not be taken out of the table, we were told: "eat them here", but we frankly ignored their words.
NO CHILDREN'S MENU!
5. Drinks: tea and coffee were served only for breakfast, the rest of the time cakes could be washed down with either juice or wine or carbonated drinks.
There were no freshly squeezed juices, they were given packaged ones, they were not tasty, worse than even our "Orchard" or "Dobry".
Everyone poured the same wine: either white or red, table wine, the simplest, apparently. We do not understand wines, but to be honest, we have tasted better wine. In a separate fridge were bottles of wine for a fee.
They do not know how to prepare cocktails: disgusting and nothing more.
We drank good mojitos, fresh juices and delicious white wine only in restaurants in the city.
6. Entertainment: there were none. When buying a tour, the tour operator said that there would be animators, water aerobics, and so on. There was nothing like that, and we did not see the animators in the eye. Vacationers entertained themselves as best they could: they played board games, there was paid table tennis and billiards by the pool (2 euros per game). We played billiards a couple of times.
Since there was nothing to entertain in the evenings, everyone at that time usually drank cheap alcohol in the lobby bar. After 23:00, drinks in the lobby bar became paid, then everyone began to disperse to their rooms.

7. The interior of the hotel as a whole: a cheap one that tries to cloud your brain with ostentatious gloss. If you look closely, you can list point by point everything that the owners of the hotel saved on, up to the wall cladding.
In fact, the only thing we liked was the beach and the beautiful seascape, everything else was far from top notch. We will assume that we paid for the beach and the beauty of nature)).
And one more thing: if you find yourself in Sfakaki, do not dine at local cafes, instead of fresh juice they served us juice from a bag, for which we paid as for fresh. Rave!
And the tour operator (I remind you, it was TEZ TOUR) picked us up late, we ended up at the airport an hour before the plane took off.
The airport in Heraklion is small, there were a lot of people already in May (imagine how many there will be in the high season! ).
For some reason, luggage is not handed over at check-in, but you need to defend a separate queue for checking in luggage, some kind of madhouse!
Then, when we had 30 minutes left before the departure of the plane, we stood in a huge queue at passport control. In addition to the frames, they have nothing, so they felt each passenger manually.
Thanks again to TEZ TOUR for the fact that we almost missed our plane!
