The time of our vacation is the end of August-beginning of September 2013. The overall impression is very positive, despite the fact that the room was on the 1st floor with a view of the mountains. At first, this upset us a little, but almost the next day we realized that this did not affect the quality of our rest at all. Despite the proximity to the ground, no insects crawled into the room. Unless sometimes mosquitoes flew in (and then some small and stunted ones). But we had something to deal with them. The room is very bright and clean. Calm and quiet. The only negative point in the room was that the air conditioner was turned on only from the remote control at the reception (everything is fine in other rooms). We addressed this issue both at the reception and the hotel guide Nina. But nothing has changed. And sometimes it was required to turn on the air conditioner, because. in the afternoon the sun turned just in our direction. And if we were at that time in the room (well, that's rare), we had to approach the room on the way to the room with a request to the manager on duty. And that was the only downside. Everything else is very good. I disagree with those who talk about meager and monotonous breakfasts. The choice of dishes is quite large. Of course, eggs are eggs, but they are also presented in the form of simply boiled, and fried, and scrambled eggs (simple and stuffed). Various hot side dishes, sausages, fried bacon, stewed and fresh vegetables, cheese, sausage. I am not talking about the variety and quantity of sweet pastries at all. I haven't even tried many of them. From fruit, we were offered melons (not very sweet), watermelons (amazing), grapes (wonderful), nectarines and even pineapples 2-3 times (not from canned food).
About the noise in the hotel: the local Greeks did not hold any noisy parties with us. Everything is quiet. On Saturday and Sunday the hotel hosted 2 weddings. We decided to enjoy the local flavor and have fun, at least as spectators from the opposite side of the pool. But they were very disappointed. The guests arrived until 10 pm, quietly talked, drank and ate. The music is very calm and unobtrusive. The newlyweds appeared at 11 o'clock to the sound of 5 fireworks. Just as quietly, everyone dispersed. On the second day (another wedding) it's about the same, only more young people, more cheerful music (there were even dances, just think!!! ) and richer fireworks.
Beach: after reading a lot of different reviews on different sites about stones and difficult entry into the sea before the trip, I imagined rough sharp stones and even boulders weighing tons! There is none of this. The beach is small pebbles. At the entrance to the sea - it is 2 meters, then - sand. It seems that those who write about the need for bathing slippers have never rested in Crimea on the southern coast. There are stones and more serious. The lack of a toilet on the beach is a big drawback of the service. The nearest toilet is at the entrance to the hotel from the beach (3 minutes walk). The toilet is very clean.

The excursion program was quite rich, because. relaxing with your car. Visited arch. park in Dion, monastery of St. Dionysius of Olympus (old), Platanamos (city and fortress), Meteora, Halkidiki (Sitonia). My daughter and her husband undertook an independent trip to the mountains of Olympus. Products were bought in a supermarket in Leptokarya. Dined there a couple of times.
Conclusions: the holiday was a success. The weather was wonderful (1 cloudy day, and then only until lunch). 1 day it was stormy, but the next day - the sea is clean and calm. The location of the hotel is very convenient in terms of the accessibility of the main sightseeing places. I advise the hotel to all those who do not need discos and noisy parties. A wonderful sea, a pleasant stay at the hotel after the hot sun and interesting excursions are provided to you. What else do you need for such a short (unfortunately) pastime on vacation?
